I first stayed here in 2020 and really enjoyed my stay so I booked here again 4 years later. The hotel is in amazing location, just right outside the Higashi Shinjuku station, and still near Shibuya / Shinjuku without the crowds. Many dining options within walking distance, from local shops to chains (Sukiya, Matsuya, McDonald's, Pepper Lunch) plus a small Donki a few blocks away that is not as busy as the ones in the center. The hotel itself is very clean, with free amenities available in the lobby. Efficient check in and check out system. Very good base if just staying in the city, one can definitely survive with only the Tokyo Metro Subway pass for going around. Highly recommended!

AC wasn’t working. There was no fan that they can provide. The only option that they said was to open the window. It was hard to sleep at night cause it was hot in the room.

Fine and very modern. The immediate neighborhood is well served with convenience stores and the subway station is near, but the location is fairly far from most places I was interested in, and like everywhere in Tokyo, the room was tiny.

Funny story about our stay in this hotel. Upon entering the room, my partner was immediately turned off. The room felt very dark and dreary, with a very outdated design. The decor made the relatively small room feel smaller. Since we actually booked our stay on two separate reservations, we cancelled the second one in order to stay at another hotel. But as our stay continued, we were able to see more of the positives. The staff were friendly and helpful. The location is great if you really want to be in Shinjuku without dealing with all of the intensity of the nightlife. The amenities were quite generous that include earplugs, which you will need. It sounds like an ambulance passes hourly. The breakfast provided was easily the best from any hotel on our trip, while being quite affordable. The bed was comfortable, but the pillows were basically flat, if that's important to you. Although we would most likely not stay in this hotel again, it ended up being much better than the hotel we move to, which looked great in photos, but not in reality. If it's for a short stay and you are really low maintenance, I would recommend the hotel. Otherwise, search hard for something else or be willing to stay further away from Shinjuku.

The room is not thoroughly cleaned specially the bathroom. The beddings were just replaced properly but the rest of the room was not that clean. The bathroom towels were changed but the sink and the floor were not cleaned. Though all garbage bins were emptied. However, I commend all the staff in the lobby. They have been very helpful, approachable and professional. My only issue is the cleaning of the room.

It is self check in and out, so very easy and convenient! Staff were friendly and helped us on more than one occasion. Super easy to get to and surrounded by subway and bus lines. It was about a 20min walk from the main terminal. The beds were comfortable enough. We got extra pillows and it made a big difference!

Great location, but cleanliness needs improving. The cleaners need to take more time to clean - I walked past one cleaner who was vacuuming the room and corridor so fast it was like watching a fast forward video and quite comical. Therefore not surprising the carpet in our room had visible food crumbs when we checked in.
