Thought the Tokyo Rei hotel group would always be good in terms of cleanliness. No doubt this hotel location is good, near the Andaz Hotel where I had to meet friends. Was disappointed with this hotel chain in Tokyo . Stayed before their hotel in other locations of Japan! this is the worst room we had.! The rooms is outdated and old.. aircon is not functioning well. Stayed 2 nights however I had to change room after the first night. Room was dark n had a weird mouldy smell .. room was Super cramp.. we had to take a corner room as hotel was running high occupancy with tour group. The plus point is - the breakfast .. reasonable and variety was very acceptable. Hint- go early to eat to avoid the Long Q. I hope the Management will look into doing some refurbishments ..else better to look for other hotels herby !
Great hotel, friendly and helpful staff. The room was small but the bed was very comfortable with a selection of soft and medium soft pillows. Great shower and good shampoo and shower gel. Aircon was quiet as was my room on the 10th floor. Breakfast was good with a nice variety of Asian and English breakfast foods.
I liked that the hotel was well located near different subway and JR lines to explore Tokyo, the room was clean and for Tokyo standards the value or money was high. The area around is quite, not too much to do, but it is just 10 minutes walk to Shimbashi where more restaurants are or 20 to Roppongi. Complimentary breakfast would have been a plus, even a small one. They have e restaurant on the ground floor but the breakfast was a bit expansive.
Close to Sword Shop-500 meters.two subway Station - 7 minutes walking.to Tsukiji Market for tuna auction 3kilometers walking.no karaoke Club close by.few restaurants close to Subway Station.friendly staff.
I'm not adding anything new to what has already been said in previous reviews. Yes, it is extremely small but basic. Decent toiletries, fresh towels, clean room and bathroom, tea & coffee maker, TV, everything that you basically need after a hectic day at work and then sleep peacefully. The WiFi is decent and the hotel staff also provides global plug for charging phone or laptop. The breakfast gets over at 9am and the staff gives you tough looks if you come any minute after 8:45am. I feel the timing should be increased to atleast 9:30am. The spread is good with fresh breads, cereal and vegetables. Enough options for a vegetarian like me. All in all a good 6 nights stay in Tokyo.
I stayed at a Single Room of this business hotel by myself for business at Toranomon Hills building which is just across the street from this hotel. The room(16.2-17.7 m2) was just fine for one person. The breakfast was very good. Subway stations are close, such as Toranomon (6 min), Kamiyacho (7 min), Kasumigaseki (8 min), but JR Shinbashi station (15 min) is a little far. Their Economy Double Room is small (15.7 m2) with a small bed(140 cm wide) for a couple, so a couple have better select a more specious Twin Room. I'd stay at this hotel, if I have a business at Toranomon Hills again.
As per the Tokyo standards, the rooms are very compact. There is no much space to keep even two big suitcases. But the amenities in the room and bath room are of high standards. The breakfast in the restaurant was OK but most of the items are suitable or of liking to Japanese/Chinese taste. Check-in fast and well maintained lounge. The staff are courteous.
The room is very small but just nice for 2 persons. A humidifier is provided in the room. The breakfast in this hotel is average. As far as location is concerned, this hotel is near to MRT stations. There is a supermarket nearby and also some drug stores.
For the value I paid was not bad, but it is a little bit far from the main metro station, specially Shinbashi, and it took 17-20 min to walk there. The nearest metro station is 10 min far from it. Overall was good, but ordinary.
I stayed here for a business trip in Tokyo and how I love the room! It isn't the biggest you can find. To say the least, the rooms are small BUT it is so comfortable. It felt right at home. Everything is well-provided for- the toiletries, coffee & tea supply, clothes iron etc. & there was even an air purifier/humidifier! The room is extremely clean and pleasant and bed is very comfortable. I fell right asleep the moment I hit the bed. It gave me very good rest after a busy day out for business. Price is reasonable for sure. To me, the only con is the walking distance from Shimbashi station. About a 15 minutes walk (without your luggage). But I would say, the quality of the rooms already offset the con in my opinion. Will definitely be back again!
