Jacob was an incredibly welcoming host. He went above and beyond to give us useful tips and was very respectful of our dietary restrictions. He’s a very knowledgeable and helpful person — he even helped arrange our luggage forwarding without any obligation, and when our luggage was delayed, he contacted the company on our behalf. The room was spacious and comfortably accommodated our family of five, with all the beds already prepared upon our arrival. Despite our late check-in, Jacob personally came over to welcome us, which we truly appreciated. The location was great — we enjoyed walking through the lovely neighbourhood to reach Hatsudai Station. There are plenty of konbinis and food options nearby. We have absolutely no regrets booking this place. It’s perfect for anyone looking for a quiet stay while still being close to the hustle and bustle of Tokyo. Thank you so much, Jacob! Highly recommended.

Stayed here for 4 nights on a family trip, 3 adults/3 children. The place is located in a cute little community complex. Less than a 3 minute walk to 7/11 and surrounded by small restaurants and shops, even a grocery store within walking distance. Quick walk to the Hatsudai station which is only 1 stop from the busy touristy things. Also walked through the neighborhood to the Nakano-Shimmachi station and passed more cute shops and convenience stores. Our host was super helpful, friendly, checked in on us during our trip, provided recommendations and tips, even a pocket WiFi that worked better than our airport one. Check in was easy and the place was clean and ready to go for us upon arrival.

We enjoyed our stay in Oak Stay Shibuya 5, we stayed there for 5 nights with 3 adults and 3 children. Easy communication with Jacob. Gives us lots of information and suggestions. The place is highly recommended as very close to the hatsudai station, nearby 7 eleven, and mcdonalds very handy especially for a last minute essential or for a snack on the way home. Very happy with our stay. He is very helpful just one message or call away and he is available to assist us. Thank you so much and will definitely comeback and book this again.

This property made for an excellent stay in the Shibuya/Setagaya area. Very well equipped space (kitchen, laundry, shower room, etc) has everything you could need to live comfortably, and the little patio area is a lovely place to get some morning sun after waking up. So much better than staying in a standard hotel room. Another very important detail — the bed is super comfortable, which can make all the difference on a trip to the city. The neighborhood is quiet and charming, with many restaurants and shops nearby on Fudo-dori. The apartment is a 10min walk to the Hatsudai train station (only one stop to Shinjuku) so getting around town is easy. Jacob is an excellent, knowledgeable host who provided quick and friendly communication and was very helpful in offering recommendations in the area. Lovely spot to stay if you’re not looking to be right in the middle of the bustling city!
