First, there are some pros to this apartment, but my experience was far from ideal.
The smell in the apartment was overwhelming. It was so strong that I couldn’t sleep, and it persisted throughout my entire 3-day stay. The odor seemed to permeate everything—walls, curtains, and the entire living space. The owner kindly offered a cleaning service to help deodorize the apartment, but it made little difference.
While I understand that some factors may be out of the owner’s control, I believe the space should meet basic standards of cleanliness and livability. Unfortunately, this apartment fell short in that regard.
After checking out, a member of the cleaning staff arrived. While I don’t want to make assumptions, their presence and the condition of the apartment reinforced my suspicion that the persistent odor may have been related to the cleaning practices, possibly from staff of Southeast Asian origin.
The apartment itself is generally nice and well-kept, and the location is convenient—just around the corner from the station. However, given the odour issue, I would reconsider booking here.
