The hotel is in a convenient area not to far from the subway, its large, clean and the staff were all very friendly. The room was also spacious with a good variety of amenities.

10min walk to Shinagawa Station (a little uphill). Lobby is spacious and nice but rooms are a bit dated & in need of a refresh. The housekeeping staff were really helpful and nice. The reception staff were also helpful and nice. There is a Tully's Coffee open from 7am (unusual in Japan). We were able to ship our snow gear to the hotel (for a fee). And we had a nice view of Tokyo skyline including Tokyo Tower

The condition of the room was fine. The staff were generally helpful and service was decent. The size of the room was smaller than expected considering there were two adults and two children. Did not realize this was a huge business / convention center type hotel so it had a lot of guests coming and going. It was nice to have an attached 7-11. The overall area seemed very quiet and subdued since it seems the area of Takanawa is mostly for business travelers and not so much for tourists.

This is one of the worst hotel experiences I've ever had, and I rarely ever write reviews. The rooms are old the bathrooms smell of mildew, the common area including the gym is absolutely underpar, dirty, and unacceptable for what is supposed to be a five star hotel. This is not a foreign friendly hotel, incredibly deceiving in terms of presentation to reality.
