Body Soap dispenser was out when we entered the room. Eating dinner only had 1 waitress and it was slow. Food was way too salty fries and fish. Table next to us sent fries back. I should have but it took too long to get food.

Wifi was very slow and bedroom tv that ran off internet never connected to a channel. Key card for room had to be reset numerous times...very inconvenient. Service was great and accommodating to the inconvenience.

Was surprised that there was no elevator. As a senior, dragging the suitcases up the stairs was not a pleasant experience. Would not return if I couldn't be guaranteed a room on the first floor. Not sure if the web site noted this, but it needs to. In this day and age an elevator is expected.

Poor Management of the Restaurant Good Management

The restaurant served a great breakfast. The dinner was interrupted because of a technical issue with their cash register. The manager had no backup plan. The poor waitresses had to deal with surly customers that wanted food and beer. They had to close the restaurant and turn away many disappointed customers. Have a plan B.

Decent minimal hotel

Kind of a well worn place that looks nothing like photos. Hall areas have a musty odor. Good location for our purposes. Dinner selections and food quality were poor. Breakfast was reasonable

Fort Ticonderoga was only 10 minutes away. Downtown was only 2 minutes away. The room was sort of dated with worn carpet and very poor lighting. We had 2 beds in our room. One was lumpy and one was not. No premium channels on the tv. The restaurant was very good,but had a limited menu. The waitress kept using the phrase "guys" to address us. It was somewhat disrespectful. We thought the breakfast was delicious and hot. Wonderful friendly staff.

Hotel was clean. Beds were comfortable. Breakfast was surprisingly good with multiple options. We had dinner at the restaurant right on site. This hotel is on a quiet street and is close to Ticonderoga attractions. We would stay there again.
