I stayed in here 2days. The air condition, bed were enough for me to sleep well. The breakfast was buffet style and so many meals were served. I had the chinese nuddles and the porridges with enjoying taste. Near the hotel, I found the local store only one at the entrance. That is not cleaned but I could buy enough. The restrants were near the SOGO behind the hotle. You can have the dinner at there.

I stayed here for 3 nights for business purpose. This hotel is quite far from everything, so the only place to eat around will be only in the hotel itself. I only go to restaurant close to lobby. The hotel is quite clean and organized. The staff mostly does not speak English, so take your time here. The WIFI is OK, free and reliable. The breakfast has quite many varieties but mainly in Chinese. For Western breakfast option, it will be quite limited.

When I checked-in at around 9PM. I was asked to stay in the lobby (bar) and come back half an hour later to the reception because the computer system was being upgraded. My booking could not be found at that time. I wondered why the computer upgrade was not carried out in the mid-night, and why they could not give me a room first and let me complete the check-in formality later. The hotel did not seemed to be full-booked at that time. The glass-house building appears to be outstanding, but it causes problem in air-conditioning in hot summer time. The temperature was around 28˚C (82˚F) in the hotel lobby. The hotel door was kept opened. Mosquito flied around me in the lobby. The wifi connection was unsteady. The half hour seemed to be long. The room was not much cooler. I set the temperature to 22˚C. The actual temperature was always 27˚C. Probably, it was the reason of having a electric mosquito repellent heater at the bedside. I could not connect my computer to the internet via wifi in the room, it seemed to be too slow, though whatsapp from my smartphone via wifi was OK.

As I travel in China, I am always amazed by the lack of maintenance by the owners of these once amazing properties. This hotel was a true diamond at one time, but all things must end. There is some upsides to the hotel. They do run the air at night. The breakfast is above average. The rooms are clean and a great little pup across the street. Not a bad hotel for the money. Just don't look too closely at the details.

The holiday inn in Tianjin was slightly out of my expectation, that is, below average. The hotel lobby needs a reno to give a better feeling for stayed in guest. It has little shops in the middle of the lobby. Also a highend clothing bazard sales out of no where. The hotel room was ok. The view out of the room was a landed carpark and tall buildings. However, the mall besides this hotel is dead. All tenabts moved out. There is only a bank near it and also a train station. For food, you can walk up to MSD buildings up south of holiday inn and it takes 10mins. It has lots of foods, ranges from western to chinese and japanese. Overall impression minus the lobby is ok.

Convenient for business trip. Clean and western standard. No surprise, You know what You Will find. Rooms ok, no need to ask for higher standard. All surfaces are the same. Breakfast Buffet is good, chinese and western.

This looked to be a new hotel from the design and rooms. The rooms were spacious and comfortable with a fantastic bathroom. the two most important things for me in any hotel and the bed and the shower and I am pleased to say both were great in this place. The rooms were kept clean and a turn down service is provided. There are some good restaurants attached to the hotel and in the areas. The breakfast selection in excellent and the food itself very good offer a good selection of both western and eastern. The hotel has a very good gym and swimming pool but be aware if you are going to swim you need to use a swimming cap or you’re not allowed in the pool. China still allows smoking in public places so when booking remember to ask for a non-smoking room if you don’t smoke because you might be disappointed if you just turn up.

I stayed here for 5 nights for business meetings. My Chinese host made this reservation probably because they believe this is European style top hotel. The breakfast indeed was good but 80% Asian style. The food in lobby and also in the restaurant is very good like in almost every place in China. Althought the price is not very competitive due to the fact that every this which looks like Western cost more then Chinese standard. And is to my opinion never better in China... Swimming pool is okay but nothing for kids. My main concern was the tempuratur in the rooms. Aircondition did not work so I was not able to lower the temperature below 21C in the room during the night. Maybe in November the airco was turned of by the hotel but I hope for other guests it works during summer time!

From the Holiday Inn hotels in IHG, you expect more than from let's say a Holiday Inn Express. However, this hotel is probably worse than a Holiday Inn express. 99% of the staff don't speak a word of English, unless it's the Nepalese staff at the hotel BBQ restaurant. They're the only positive about this hotel, hence I rated it poor. Without these lovely people I would have rated it Terrible. Besides the hotel staff not able to speak a word of English (while working at an international brand hotel), they're just plain rude. With a special shoutout to Emily, who's the Guest Relationships Manager. No idea how she got that position, as she has never heard of Service, let alone build relationships with guests. She IS however, pretty good at making guests feel terrible and never wanting to come back. That's for sure! Also, a shoutout to the staff at the bar. They know how to make a hotel bar feel like a dodgy hole of criminals. It just doesn't feel comfy and pleasant there. Breakfast is big, with a lot of choice. But nothing tastes like it should. Odd. Perhaps an idea to change the chef or get some quality produce.....

First time in this favorite hotel chain in TEDA. It's the Holiday Inn hotel I usually know. The gym and swimming pool is good. Breakfast selection is excellent. Price is absolutely reasonable. Business district is a stone throw away. Access from airport is about 50km away. One of the best choices in TEDA.
