I think it is a perfect choice of hotel if you are looking something in close vicinity of Den Haag Centraal (the hotel is only one stop away). Even rain is not a problem as you take the train inside the railway station and get off somewhat 30-50 away from the hotel entrance. The rooms are modern and fully equipped with all you might need. Service is very good.
This hotel was not as nice as we had expected. It was clean and the views were nice, the location was great for getting to the train station and city center. Now for the bewares. The food was expensive. We were to have a double bed, but we found that we were given 2 twin beds pushed together, which we kept sliding down in between during the night. Another major beware: check your checkout receipt to be sure you are not overcharged. My husband specifically told them we would not be eating the breakfast, which was 17 euros each day for each person. However, we were charged for 6 days of breakfasts for 2 people, which came out to 300 dollars extra on our bill. We never ate once !! They also almost tried to overcharge us for water and cokes that were in our room. However, we caught that one before we left.
The NH hotel near the WTC in The Hague, offers excellent and clean rooms with all amenities you can think of and the hotel staff is very friendly. It has a nice bar and restaurant and the breakfast served is outstanding. I can recommend this hotel to everyone.
We spent one night in the NH Hotel in Den Haag. The room was beautiful and the view amazing. The bathroom was beautiful and super clean. We tried the roomservice and it was excellent!!! Fast and fresh cooked!!! Even staying here with a pet is no problem. The room was just a bit noisy. It started snowing that day and it was really windy. What could be a problem in the upper rooms for guests with a light sleep- If I m in town I would choose this hotel again!!!
On tuesday the 28th November 2017 me and my husband checked in for a one week stay at the NH the Hague. My husband had by change a conversation with the night receptionist mr. Nelson Spencer and told him about my lungcancer. The next day we got a call, the NH Hotel Den Haag had a suprice for us ; we could move/upgrade to the skyroom|Suite at the upper 19th floor,a suite with an amazing view, all for free plus a 3 course menu, free drinks,a bottle of Champagne with Dutch sweets, again, all for free, our whole stay. It was such a treat. We also got multiple gifts such as a Bathrobe. All Regards and Thanks for Nelson and the NH Hotel Den Haag Crew!!!!!a Superb Hotel, we will return...as long as I am “well”,Thanks NH DEN HAAG crew,Saskia Sas van Bolhuis ,Enschede, the Netherlands
We were lucky enough to be selected as NH’s Customer of the Day, which meant and upgrade to a 2-story suite on the 19th floor, in addition to other small upgrades. Our stay in Den Haag couldn’t have been better! Thank you to all the amazing NH staff for looking after us so well during our visit.
So this was booked through the company, arrived and there was a little confusion with the booking, but the staff worked through this, room was on the 11th floor, if im honest i was expecting something slightly more grand, it was just a typical twin room, and for €170+ per night i feel at that price the room should be bigger, better view or something. So ate in the restaurant the first night, not cheap, but tasty and to be fair, i didnt fancy walking too far. So all in all an ok hotel, more expensive than i would normally pay for the same standard i would expect. 8/10
A straightforward business hotel in the new section of the city. Clean and comfortable (albeit rather small) rooms, good free wifi and a very decent breakfast, it is attached to the World Trade Center with shops and restaurants close by. A decent place to stay if the location is convenient for you, but not especially recommended for tourists.
Everything is up to expectation. I felt toiletries can be provided like eyebrow pluckier. Ironing equipment can be provided in room instead of making it available on request. And drinking water bottles
This hotel is very close to our company's office in The Hague. I added on some days for personal travel as well and it's a fair walk from the tourist spots. You can try the metro (very short walk away) or pay about 10 euros one way for a taxi. I was going to give a shout out to a helpful receptionist at the start but unfortunately she messed up the 'two cards but same room' admin so that it took me 10-15 mins to sort it out on checkout. Watch out for the hotel's free map, it doesn't have most of the big tourist items on there. There's a free bright blue one available in most locations that's way better. The breakfast is lovely but expensive, worth it on a Sunday for example if you've got time to make the most of it. You can get custom omelettes, fruit, cold meats and more. I was especially impressed with the availability of soya yoghurts! If you're in a rush or saving pennies then come out of the lifts and turn right into the trade centre. Go right across the lobby and you'll see a little shop/bakery with a great range of takeaway stuff. Only open mon-fri though apparently. The room was spotless and had everything you need. It's not a particularly quiet location but the staff did their best to give me a quieter room, if that's important to you then mention it as a request when booking. Other tip: if you need an iron and board ask early, they run out!
