I was traveling solo and had a great time staying at the hotel. The room where I stayed was inclusive and accessible for persons with disabilities and surprisingly had an emergency pull string which I don't usually find in many hotels. The bed was spacious and comfortable, wifi was reliable, and the whole room was perfect to give me comfort. Breakfast was ok. Location is also good for a traveler like me since the hotel is close to the Central Station. Overall, I can recommend this hotel for transitory stay.
I really recommend this hotel. It was very nice to stay there. The breakfast was very good. The staff is friendly. The room was completely clean and very comfortable. The place is also fine. Near the tram station. You can walk to the Central Station of Den Haag in 5-10 minunes.
Conveniently located by a train stop and walking distance from The Hague Central Station. Clean, Convenient, and affordable rooms. I will look to stay at this location again if I am back in the area. :)
Our weekend at the NH Hotel got off to a great start as we given a free upgrade to a superior room. The room was large and very comfortable, with the biggest bed I have ever seen! We were on the 11th floor, on a corner, with large windows and great views on two sides. The room had a Nespresso machine and a kettle for making tea, so my partner and I were both happy! The hotel overall is very clean and well maintained, and all the staff that we interacted with were friendly and very helpful. It is a business hotel and slightly out of the city centre, but right next to a tram stop, and just one stop away from Central Station. We decided not to have breakfast at the hotel -- 19.90 euros per person seemed too steep, however good the food might be -- but there are cafes and other options not far away. (Although be aware that some of these are only open during the week, reinforcing the essentially business feel of this hotel.)
My husband and I are always in The Hague on business and stay at a few other lovely hotels but this time decided to try NH hotel as the others were fully booked. The amenities on face value look quite good but we had the most shocking hotel experience here. The very next day my husband's suitcase which was padlocked was broken into and his Wireless Bose headphones stolen. I have in all my years of travel never experienced this. The padlock was put back but it was very obvious it had been cracked open. And the next shocking experience was that the hotel management were not appalled by this but rather very calming told me they had asked the personnel and they said they did not take it and so there's nothing they can do and I should go to report it at the police station. Wow! It was therefore no further shock to see that on same day the box was broken into they had forgotten to replenish the minibar and the day before they had forgotten the dirty towels on the table! Well suffice to say We will definitely never be staying there again
We stayed n the NH hotel on business. The staff were wonderful and very willing to help with all our inquiries, They are well informed about everything that makes travel easier. The went out of their way to assist us in any way they could. This is a well appointed hotel with beautiful facilities and great service. I would certainly recommend it to anyone visiting Den Haag.
Hi Stayed in NH hotel Den Haag September 2017. I`d like to say that i always rely on international high standard of NH hotels group and they never fail my expectation. NH Den Haag is a fine example of how the international reputation must be maintained and a property kept in an excellent trim. 1/ We were on the 14th floor with excellent view to the city, railroad ( not a sound) and surrounding area, the hotel is 100% non-smoking. Check-in swift and efficient, staff is multilingual and have pleasant attitude, they are helpful and accommodating. 2/ Room. Spacious, airy with 2 big panoramic windows, at the window there is resting area with table and comfy armchair/ cushion + writing desk and a leather working-armchair. Plasma 38 inch TV, tea/ coffee making facilities with daily replenishable tea and coffee sachets, mini bar for extra charge and safe box ( free). Some reviewers before me complained about firmness of the mattresses, I can say – it was perfect me and my sleep was absolutely comfortable. 3/We booked room with breakfast, and it was a great pleasure – a feast for an eye and good feel for a stomach. Excellent buffet speared with all you need for a productive start of a day: homemade yoghurt ( 3 choices), muesli, cereals, several freshly squeezed juices, hot dishes, pastry, fresh fruit, salad section, cheeses and cold cuts. 2 coffee machines and tea selection – self service. 4/ Location. Not super central, for sure. But very manageable from transport convenience point of view: one tram stop from the Den hag Centraal ( ram 3 or 4) and 1 min walk to the hotel front door from the tram stop. City center, museum spot, shopping center is just 2 tram stops from the hotel ( Spui), on the same tran 3 or 4. Reception does not sell tickets for public transport. You have to buy them on the Centraal station right after arrival – we used 3 days ticket for 16.50 euro. Warning: it`s not 72 hours ticket. 5/ Bathroom. Equipped with bathtub and vanity counter. Towels are crispy clear and perfectly soft. Standard Bathroom amenities are in presence - shampoo, conditioner, soap, body lotion. Nh bathroom has a remarkable door that serves as a door to the bathroom and, at a different angle, as toilet door. Very sleek and thoughtful design, I only regret I do not have a picture of it. 6/ wifi is free. Signal and steady and strong. 7/ Fitness facility (gym) and spa is available for extra fee : 12 euro per day. 8/ Will I stay at this property again and recommend it to a close friend? YES YES YES, without hesitation. And I`ll gladly answer all your further questions if you have any......... cheers Schonefeld
I stayed at this hotel for a conference in the neighbouring convention centre, pre-paying the cheapest room on the Delta website. The room itself was a bit on the small side, but with plenty of resting space, if not enough to unpack entire suitcases worth of clothes. The room was functional, including (paid) minibar, a safe, and some basic complimentary amenities such as instant coffee and tea. Room service (and breakfast in bed) is available to purchase. Not a lot of electrical plugs, but at least the one by the sideboard is turned on even without the key inserted in the power-saving slot. The bathroom was clean, and with hot and high-pressure water that made for a great shower. The mirror is heated to stop the fogging, which is a nice addition. Location of the hotel is great: it's walking distance from both Den Haag Centraal or (closer by) Den Haag Laan v NOI, which are both easily reachable from Amsterdam Airport. There's a tram stop on the back of the hotel that goes to the Centraal station and city centre (and from there going to the Pier is quite easy too). Reception sells day and hourly transportation tickets, that can be charged to the room for convenience.
Stayed here to attend a family party in the city. Room and public areas clean and facilities worked. Wifi was easy and trouble-free throughout. Parking was very convenient though exiting on a Sunday morning was a little problematic but not enough to put me off. Parking was also reasonably priced. Breakfast was slightly disappointing - a barely reasonable range on offer - scrambled eggs were a let-down and coffee was nothing special. Breakfast staff were efficient and attentive. My room had a kind of 'internal' view but I wasn't aware of external noise and such. Elevators a little slow but otherwise a good hotel.
Relatively cheap, clean, large enough rooms, relatively central. Just solid if you want to be close to the centre and the highway. It is solid value for money, if you want to be just outside the centre. It does have a 'business' feel to it, unfortunately
