No Air Con. Avoid
The layout and size of the rooms were good, as was the location of the apartments. Free parking nearby too.
But (and this is a very large but) - there's no air conditioning in the Paraiso del Sol Apartments! And there are a limited number of fans if you are lucky enough to get one at all.
Truth be told, I assumed most buildings in a sub tropical place like Tenerife would have air conditioning, just like most buildings in Ireland have a heating system. But not the Paraiso del Sol. In fact they scarcely even have fans! At least not the night we arrived when the apartment was like a furnace given that it was an unseasonably hot October. Could hardly sleep the first night, and I don't go on holidays to live in discomfort. Had to ask twice to get their one last (and rather inadequate) fan the second night. Which makes me question how this place is a 3.5 star. At least according to hotels.com its a 3.5 star.
Also, I haven't paid for wireless anywhere in about 10 years. Until I stayed here! And, I don't really care about a frill like a hair dryer but again, I thought a 3.5 star would usually provide one.
