3rd stay in 3 years, and once again not disappointed at all. Went with friends and had requested rooms close together in paraiso but none available, no big deal, but they very kindly offered us 2 rooms on Paradero. We went to look at them and they were fabulous, recent refurbishment to very high standard, but we declined as we preferred where we were closer to reception and pool bar, but very good of them to offer. Rooms spotless and cleaned 5 out of 7 days, barcstaff very friendly, hardworking and always smiling, the lifeguard was very good fun chatting and mixing with guests around the pool. Beers and food very well priced, plenty of sun beds, no rush for them. Great place in a great area, las America, Adeje and san eugenio, thank you for a super holiday and see you again next year.,
We stayed here from the 1st to 8th april all the staff were pleasant and welcoming. The apartments were very basic but immaculately clean.Bar food and drinks were reasonable .The only problem I found was on our patio there we're pieses missing.which was quite uneven and sharp so you had to be careful not to trip. This did not affect our stay at all we will definitely be staying here again in the future .
Just spent 2 weeks staying here with my hubby. A little bumpy at the beginning as due to my limited mobility we had to change apartments, the next day into a groundfloor apt with a cute little garden with 2 sunbeds in which had sun from late morning til sunset, perfect for my sun worshipping hubby lol. James (English/Spanish) on reception is amazing, nothing was too much trouble and he went the extra mile every time we needed him. Recommended places to eat, visit etc. He deserves a pay rise! Always a smile and a friendly word every day. Smashing guy. Didn’t really deal with other staff only briefly and they were terrific too. The apartments are very basic but ours was spotless and we saw no vermin or cockroaches the whole time. Beds changed every couple of days and our maid Desiree was lovely. Came 12 days out of 14 and very conscientious. The only thing I struggled with was location but hired a scooter for 9 days and there was no keeping us in. If you want a basic base that’s economical etc for a no frills holiday then it’s perfect. I don’t go on holiday to sit in every day. Thx Paraiso Del Sol see you again soon.
So we arrived on the 12th March as a Christmas present that was given to myself & my boyfriend. We originally were booked to stay in Paradero apartments, we checked in, got to the room .. the smell of sewage as soon as we opened the door was incredible. We left it a day or 2 and started the think that maybe something had died somewhere as the room was just stinking and not getting any better. The room had clearly not been renovated in a number of years, the shower doors were hanging off the hinges and water started to leak out the bottom when the shower was on. So enough was enough, we went down to complain and see if it could be resolved or if we could move room as we still had another 5 full days ahead of us. But the receptionists were the most unhelpful & unfriendly people imaginable. They were not going to move us or help find a solution so we contacted Alpha rooms who we booked through. Thanks so them we were moved room the next day into The Paraiso a sister hotel to Paradero; it could only get better from here surely! However, the story goes on .. on the second night in this new room my partner saw something run under the tv unit, a mouse! We phoned reception to get someone to come down and remove it .. 15 mins later we managed to get it out the room with no help from any staff. I phoned reception back and their words were ‘oh thank goodness as we didn’t have anyone to send down and no other rooms to move you too’ Great! Over the next 3 days after that we had another 2 mince in the room .. which we came to the conclusion were living under the fridge area. Vile!!! We then asked if we could get late check out and pay the €30 euros for it as our flight wasn’t till 8 at night and check out was at 12 noon, but yet again we were told no it wasn’t possible! To cut a very long story short, please don’t ruin your experience of Tenerife by booking this hotel 👍🏽
I don't think these apartments have been updated since they were built! Basic security on sliding doors (Chain) and locks you would use on a toilet door for the other sliding doors in the rooms. But it was a clean apartment with staff cleaning every other day. The TV we had was large with around 20 analogue channels with not a very good picture but as we travelled with kids, the TV played movies from a USB stick that we brought with us - So if travelling with kids, put some films on USB and the TV should play them. Fridge was not so warm, reminded me of a trip to santa ponsa 22 years ago! really you should have cold enough fridges. Lifeguard was very friendly, food was good at the onsite snackbar next to the pool. Kids pool was good, stuck away in the corner but both pools very cold but as to be expected. Yellow staining on all clothes worn in the pool that does not come out in the wash. never had that before. Washer / Dryer onsite 4Euros each. Bike hire, WIFI at reception ( free) and advertised WIFI in rooms for 19 Euros but I could never see this network from our apartment. Staff great checking in - Walked us to our room, gave us extra keys for the side door incase it was locked. Staff checking out was poor. Need to improve on that as this is what gives you a lasting impression of your stay. No parking onsite, Parking on the street however this is a very busy area, Restaurants next door to the hotel provide take away food - Chinese and pizza place as well as breakfasts. Supermarket 2 mins walk. Very good location next to the Palm beach hotel. (looked a bit rough!). Plenty swing parks, beach walks, shops, restaurants all within a 5 min walk. Lots of flowers in gardens, in walkways and lots of butterfly's around - great for the kids coming from a cold country this time of year. 23-26 C each day in march - Magic. would we come back again? Maybe if the security was better in the apartments and if the smoke alarm was put back on the ceiling. And if the price was right. For this price you could get a cracker of apartment round the coast a lot better than this however location is everything. We had an enjoyable stay, kids were happy - thats the main thing,
Second time here can’t fault it,the receptionist were friendly, despite the bad reviews, cleaners came 5 times a week,I had a poorly boy and they were brilliant couldn’t help enough.the rooms could do with updating but very big and plenty of places to store things.the location is great 5min walk to beach n restaurants.plenty of sun beds so no rushing about, life guard very helpful.i will definitely be returning 😀
Last week we stayed in this hotel as a group of 3 couples. We booked 3 studio rooms but on arrival we were told they weren’t available and that we would have to take 2 apartments, the bookings were made six months in advance and were confirmed a week before. The next day we complained again and we given another room. That evening there was a mouse found in one of the apartments and when the fridge was pull out there was a number of traps and dropping found. In the studio room the hob didn’t work and a lump of plaster fell from the ceiling while we were out. The location was great and the lifeguard at the pool was very friendly but we wouldn’t stay again.
You’re looking for a nice place in a central location at affordable prices? The Paraiso del Sol is right for you. The rooms are tidy and spacious and have a nice balcony as well. They are equipped with a pantry kitchen and a flat screen TV set. Rooms are cleaned and towels are exchanged 5 days a week. Rubbish is emptied every day. A big Mall ( Siam Mall) and the beach (Playa de Troya) are both in 10 Minutes walking distance. 2 supermarkets (one open 24/7) are in direct neighborhood.
We stayed at Paraiso Del Sol for one week. No problem finding our apartment which we were delighted to find we had been upgraded to a 2 bed room having booked a studio. We had sunshine into the rooms everyday which made it nice and warm for January. Air con is not available and I would imagine be necessary in the summer months. Basic very clean accommodation towels changed regularly and not an ant or cockroach in sight. Paraiso del sol are in a perfect location just a short walk from the Main Street. Left forLas America’s and right for Adeje which we loved. 2 supermarkets nearby also a chemist. It’s a quiet area and we slept perfectly during our stay. We have no hesitation in staying here again
Stayed here from 1st-15th January and stayed in room L121.The good points are the pool and pool area being very clean and the pool bar snacks were very good and reasonably priced. The staff at the pool bar are great unlike the reception staff. The bad point is very bad,on our last day we discovered a mouse caught in a mouse trap at the side of the fridge, disgusting. We left immediately and reported it to the receptionist who shrugged her shoulders and said nothing.
