Location, quiet, very accomadating staff, simple, scenic
Nobody here! Facility ok. Showing signs of neglect.
a good value, and only 20 minutes from Telluride.Very clean and recently remodeled.
Restaurant was not open. No front desk service after 2:00 pm. But the room was very clean and we received fresh towels every day. Very quiet location.
Beautiful, clean, quiet and well-cared for property, but the information provided by Orbitz indicated there would be breakfast and there was none until two weeks after I left (it was seasonal). The staff was only available from 9 am to 1 pm and by voicemail. I was in a seminar that began at 9 am and ended at 5 pm, so I never saw anyone.
No staff on premises in the evening so if there is an issue it is difficult to get in touch with anyone.
This horel is in a great location. Check in was weird, the lobby closes at 12, so your key and registration is left in the window. The 2 ladies that answer the phone and work thete are very accomadating.and sweet. They also take care of cleaning the rooms. The restaurant is now closed without any idea if it will reopen. This was one of the reasons I booked the hotel. This needs to be changed on the web site. The hotel is up for sale, I think this must be the reason things are not a 4 or 5 star. Beds were comfortable, the view was nice. There are no dressers in the rooms if you have a long stay. There is a closet.
Complete false advertisement. No breakfast, restaurant closed, no maid service, no service what so ever. I asked the smoke alarm to be fixed since the old was taken off, room to be cleaned, needed some extra towels and all requests were not given. I have been to many hotels across the world and never encounter anything like this. We wanted a full refund of the second night as we planned on booking another hotel but were not given one. What a nightmare. Stay away from this place.
perfect. Amy was great. food excellent, rooms perfect and cozy location perfect. Highly recommend. close to everything and pricing was great
For sale sign out front. Upon arrival I had to call the hotel staff to let me in. The front door was locked? They told me to come around to the back door. The two very nice ladies that ran the front desk also did all of the cleaning. The stay was adequate but very strange vibe. I’d look elsewhere next time.
Much cheaper to stay here than in Teluride. Staff was very friendly.
Nice neat hotel Staffs are friendly 40 minutes driving to ski resort
We were so excited to stay at this cute find outside Telluride. Upon arrival our excitement quickly turned. Our room smelled so awful my husband quickly went to find housekeeping. A young man entered soon after with air-freshener saying 'we cleaned this room all day, it smells like a dog DIED in here, I don't know what to do.' (He repeated that it smelled like death 4 times). He sprayed some spray all over the carpets and bedding and told us he had left the balcony door open all day. He returned awhile later with another spray and said he had talked to his boss about how awful the room smelled. Though the house keeping man was kind, it's appalling that he let his boss know how truly terrible the room smelled and we NEVER heard a word from said boss in our 48 hour stay. We ended up having to sleep with the door open to let fresh air in and I sprayed nearly half a bottle of body spray to keep the room livable. On the last day when we were packing up to check out, I leaned over the end of the bed and was instantly in pain. A THREE INCH splinter off the end of the wood bed was stuck into my newly purchased jeans, leaving a bad hole and a bloody wound. Knowing how nothing was done about the dog stench in our room I felt it would be pointless to mention this to the hotel staff and we just left, happy to be done with that hotel and the staff (aside from the room service attendant who did what he could - within his power) who clearly could not care about their patrons.
Basic hotel and amenities for the same price as some hotels in T-ride with more amenities. Restaurant has good food but they could improve on the continental breakfast being the same as a Motel 6 continental breakfast. Maybe a hot breakfast would really impress the guests since they have a full kitchen ready to go! Staff was fine but wasn't any more friendly than necessary. They seemed a little stressed even though the hotel wasn't very busy Room was clean and nice and the balcony was great. I did find a beer bottle cap underneath the drapes so maybe the maid could vacuum more than just the obvious places!I'd stay here again if I had to but would look elsewhere first.
Never have I stayed at a property that went overboard to insure you were pleased. This all done in a non-intrusive manner. There are not enough kind words to say about the staff. We had their Sunday Brunch and thoroughly enjoyed it. Watched the Broncos on the bar TV and fit right in though I was wearing my Dallas Cowboys gear. Wish we lived closer, but if ever near, we will go out of our way to stay here again.
Nice hotel, check in staff was very nice, morning staff was ok. Good value for the location, however there weren't any screens in all the windows and without AC it made it hard to cool the room at night. There were ants and centipedes in the bathroom of our first floor room. The bed however was very comfortable, and breakfast was a typical continental breakfast, but didn't know where to put away dishes after done with meal. Overall, for the online rate we found, we would stay here again; be forewarned that the walk in rate was a bit high.
Beautiful hotel! The food from the restaurant was delicious! Nice area in the patio. The staff was ver nice. we were visiting telluride, the hotel is a bit far but if you have a car that is not a problem and is a great option.

We are glad you enjoyed the property. We apologize for the inconvenience of no breakfast, we no longer offer it, and the website has wrong information. We are working on fixing this issue.
No staff on premises in the evening so if there is an issue it is difficult to get in touch with anyone.
We have an emergency contact number listed at the front desk and in each of the rooms. If something is to come about, the number listed is our manager and she is wonderful at answering or returning phone calls with any issues, and if needed sending a staff member back to the inn for help. Thank you for your feed back!
Thank you for your review! We are so happy you enjoyed your stay!!

I am sorry you had a horrible experience. You were told about the changes before you checked and still wanted to stay here at the hotel.
Thank you!
