Mountainside Inn is Telluride's most affordable property, conveniently located along the San Miguel River and just 200 yards to lift #7!

We strongly encourage you to consider one of the many local shuttle options in favor of driving. Should you choose to drive, and use one of the Mountainside Inn Parking Permits, there is a $20 per night parking fee. If there is no Mountainside Inn parking available, you may need to park overnight in one of the local paid parking garages.*

The Mountainside Inn is located along the San Miguel River in the heart of Telluride. It is comprised of four separate buildings, all of which are two floors with stair access (no elevators). Rooms may face the river, mountainside, parking lot or a neighboring building.

This is a hotel room with kitchenette (mini-fridge, microwave, two-burner stovetop, coffee maker and toaster) at the Mountainside Inn. This room has a queen bed and a twin bed and private bath with shower (no tub).

Complimentary wifi is included. A well-stocked vending machine and coin-operated laundry are located on the property. There is no A/C at the Mountainside Inn.

The Mountainside Inn is just two blocks from the grocery store, and about a 10-minute walk from historic downtown Telluride. The river trail offers a delightful path through town, and the free in-town shuttle picks up about a 1/2-block from the Inn.

Please be aware that your room number may differ than the one on your reservation confirmation. The Mountainside Inn reserves the right to move reservations to a comparable room without notifying the guest.

Convenient and comfortable

We had a great stay. Appreciated that it had kitchenette and really nice new hot tubs. We also appreciated how close it was to the city parking lot and to a lift. For the cost, this was perfect.

Weekend visit

Great location, clean. Parking took a minute to get to but once there easy access. We walked everywhere. The gondola was very close. Trail next to creek was great. Restaurants were close.

Nice quiet spot near river & gondola

No frills but exactly what you need to spend most of your time outside, which is why you’re in Telluride presumably! Right along the San Miguel a gorgeous stroll to the gondola, into town, or to the festival grounds (I was there for the Bluegrass Festival).
