Our room was dirty cobwebs no mattress protector and sheets were to small for the bed,smelt i could go on. Staff were non existent only 3 poor reception tv chanels. Dirty dishes outside our room at checkin. Overall i would not recommend.

Property is run down and room seems old. Parking is OK with some huge buses parked at the property. Bathroom has been reformed so it did have decent bathroom. Kitchen utensils were really beat up and I did not want to use it. Bed, kitchen and Carpet all look and feel out dated.

Spotlessly clean, comfy stay in a great location!

After reading some poor reviews we had some trepidation, however, we could not have been happier with our room, it far exceeded our typical standards for accommodations in this price point. We really enjoyed our stay. The room was spotlessly clean, well equipped, and the bed was very comfortable. The motel is in a great location just minutes walk from downtown Te Anau and the lake. The staff were welcoming and check in/out was easy. The wi-fi was excellent with individual dedicated routers in each room. Highly recommend this stay, it was excellent value, we would have liked to have stayed longer.

Filthy hotel with urine stains and hair in bed. Carpet covered with stains and room reeked of mold. After showing clerk photos of urine on sheets he offered to cancel reservation. I left property and called Expedia to confirm refund - when Expedia called property owner refused to honor cancellation and Expedia would not acting despite seeing my photos of the urine and hair in the bed. Shame on clerk for lying and shame on Expedia for not backing me and still showing this property on their site. The rooms are not sanitary and this property should be shut down by health inspectors. Under no circumstances should you stay here.

Clean - minimal amenities. Coffee impractical to attempt to make. No hand towels. Lighting on the outside walkway SO BRIGHT all night in our room - tried to block w the closet door. They need a black out curtain for the window on the door!
