The room was good could have used better pillows as only one for each side of the bed, the construction noise really put a dampener on the whole thing I was woken so early on a Saturday morning. Definitely was not worth the price

When we arrived they couldn't find our reservation which wasnt a great start Our room was on the ground floor a few steps from reception which isn't ideal due to noise from reception and outside seeping in The place was relatively clean, some of the dishes had sediment on them so they had to be rewashed before use There was only one bowl The fridge wasnt clean, there were crumbs from previous use The bed was ok, not comfy but not rock hard, the bedframe was squeaky so with every movement there was noise, putting pillows behind it helped but didnt fix the problem The shower in the ensuite had a lot of hard water stains and the temperature changed drastically with little or no movement to the temperature gauge When the AC was on, there was a banging noise coming from the unit so we didnt keep it on for long And be careful when booking parking in the underground as if you have a bigger car or are not confident in navigating small spaces, you will scrape your car without a doubt

With quest our preferred option, we found it to be a bit sub par in terms of other quest hotels we’ve stayed at. Reception unmanned on check in with a phone number to ring, likewise on checkout, reception unmanned, room looked a little dated, bathroom looked like it belonged in the 90s

Not so great. The lady on the front desk was the stand out of this hotel. She could not have tried harder. Firstly, there's a lot of construction. We were lucky checking in on Friday afternoon. Better accoms closer to Mt Maunganui.. The room itself is a good size, just needs a gut and rebuild.

Nice clean property with helpful staff. We had a 2 bedroom property and this was perfect to stay for 4 of us. 2 kids included. The rooms are really tidy abs linen was clean, beds were comfy but it just felt a little dated. The net curtains were uneven and carpet appeared worn. All little stuff and didn't take away from a pleasant stay all up.

Good location . Parking $15 - tight but useful as busy area ( wouldnt take a ute in there) However - poor cleaning in non main areas like the deck. No plug for our bath ( spa bath) and although they got a replacement, it would have be obvious to cleaning Staff it wasnt there. Bath is very high step ( no saftey rails. ) would be no good for elderly or mobility impaired. Shower was terrible- poor pressure and went from warm to extremely hot without touching controls. Staff at reception very friendly and helpful. Id stay again based on location. But felt it was overpriced for quality. Bed/kitchen/bathroom were clean and presentable.
