Nestled on 4.2 hectares (10 acres) of serene, elevated land that offers peace and tranquillity, overlooking Whanganui River and across to Mt Ruapehu. Soak in the ambient sounds of the river below and birdlife all around. Located in Taumarunui, King Country. Despite our rural location on the Old Forgotten Highway SH43, we are only 2.8km from town. Conveniently close to epic cycle adventures, walking trails, golf course, kayaking and jetboat activities, the Forgotten World rail cart, Alpaca farm, four gardens of significance including Bradley’s Gardens and Lavendar farm. Fly fishing is a 1-minute stroll away. We’re also an easy drive to the National Park, Tongariro Crossing and ski fields. Two newly constructed homes designed to maximise views and privacy. Available to book either individually or both together. Both two-bedroom homes offer king beds throughout, black out blinds for a great night’ sleep, all linen provided, coffee/tea, safe, free WiFi and every comfort of home.

Excellent Holiday Home
Property was just what we needed for our short break. Close to town but with an ‘away from it all’ feeling. House was extremely clean and tidy. Kitchen was well stocked with all the equipment we needed for cooking our own meals. Lovely sunny spot.
