Large rooms which was good, but terrible pillows, beds, and linens. No access to snacks or any food after 4. They had no bottled water, and 2 cups left for water at front desk.

Outstanding views. Great staff. We went during the summer and enjoyed the trails.

Beautiful location and awesome facilities. It was very close to the bike park

First the good news: Very clean, very large room with plenty of towels, 2 large closets, mini fridge, microwave, and a comfy bed. Also, pleasant, helpful staff. Things that matter to us: No view from the balcony. Staying in a mountain lodge, one expects a view and none was found. Also, my husband has vision issues and the place was so dark! No natural light from the balcony came into the room, and the lamps just illuminated 5 pools of murky light. He found it difficult to read and to locate his personal belongings. During the off season the only 'restaurant' on site is a small cafe open from 8-2, so no restaurant or bar for dinner on site. Finally, using the 'contact us' portion of their web site, I had e-mailed before my visit asking about laundry services. Never received a reply. (FYI: w/d on several floors.) So, a good place to stay for most, but didn’t meet our specific standards or needs.

Clean facilities and good location and good restaurants and great customer service

Very convenient. A great place for kids. The restaurant was delicious and had a very kid friendly menu.

Really great property overall; staff nice. Some rooms don’t have AC/can get a little stuffy in those rooms.

The front desk staff was aloof. They could or would not answer basic questions regarding the hotel. I recently purchased property in Angel Fire and was disappointed with my first experience with the resort.

Nice place, a little far of a drive to get to from Taos. Nice pool, no hot tub available and limited food at night. Chair lift is awesome.

On the slopes. Spacious, comfortable and perfect for large family gatherings. Had multiple rooms for 3 generations.

When I stayed in July, it was quiet and peaceful. The room was large, but dated. The carpets were old and dirty and all the bathroom fixtures were old as well. The bathroom vent kept falling out of the ceiling and the shower pressure was not good. The toilet paper was the cheap thin kind that takes a lot more to get the job done. Even though it was summer the sheets were all heavy winter blankets. The room did not have air conditioning. Thankfully, we were on the second floor so we felt comfortable enough to leave the balcony door open all night. The mattress was FIRM. I don't consider myself very picky, but I hurt so bad after sleeping in that bed. I also usually sleep with a thin pillow and all of the pillows were thick and hard as well, so I ended up sleeping without a pillow. There were also no outlets near the bed. May or may not be a big deal for some people. I know it sounds like I'm complaining a lot, but I think this would have been a much better experience during the winter. It was a very large room with plenty of space for ski equipment. The lifts were on the backside of the building. There is a fireplace in the room and a good sized balcony to sit out on and look at the beautiful scenery. Everyone we spoke with at the hotel was pleasant. They have amazing breakfast in gift shop area. The price could have been a little better for what you get. But overall, I'd probably stay again. Not many options in this town anyway.

This hotel is set up for winter and when the daytime temps are in the upper 80's it gets stuffy. No AC makes for a long hot night even with the slider to the balcony open, other than that it is a great place.

Very nice facility, my wife got altitude sickness, we had to get to a lower altitude, the staff worked with us to get a refund for the night that was booked & we had to give up! Great Staff

I made reservations online. When we arrived the receptionist informed us that our reservation had been cancelled. After checking in an office he found our reservation. Perhaps he should have looked there prior to telling us it had been cancelled. We were exhausted and did not need the aggravation.

I visited in the middle of the summer so skiing was not an option, but there was plenty of other things to do. Try the pizza in the restaurant!

Nice hotel. Ski n ski out was great. Ski school not so good. Poor old man couldn't teach very well.

The hotel rooms were very spacious! We were on the 5th floor and our ceilings were nice and high. The view was great as well. My only real issue with the room was the fixtures in the bathroom and wash area. They were really outdated. Also the only breakfast option is a little cafe near the reception desk or a cafeteria style restaurant attached to the hotel that is very over priced and mostly used by people there to ski.

This hotel was not great but not bad. The staff was. Ice and accommodating.
