Bandara Hotel4.5 out of 5.0

I stayed at the Bandara Hotel one night for an extended layover in Jakarta before catching a flight out of the Soekarno-Hatta Int'l Airport. The only positives are that the property is within 5 minutes to/from the airport with 24 hour shuttle service and the staff is very friendly. The breakfast buffet is pretty good, too. Unfortunately, the property is NOT a 4.5 star hotel. It is in desperate need of renovations. My room was run-down and not particularly clean. I wish that was the worst of it, but it is not. I woke up in the early morning and discovered two lizards on the wall across from my bed. Though I suppose that is not completely unexpected given the locale and the fact that I was in a ground-level garden view room, it was unexpected. However, it wasn't until getting to the airport that I noticed several itchy red marks on my feet and legs. Given their concentrated location, the fact that I am in good health and the marks currently remain and have not spread, I am relatively certain they are bite marks from bed bugs. I rarely post reviews unless my experiences are either incredibly good or particularly bad. My experience at the Bandara Hotel was bad, and hopefully gives other travelers pause before staying there. For the record, at checkout, I did tell the woman at the front desk about the lizards in the room and its lack of cleanliness. (I made no mention of bed bugs because I discovered the marks on my feet and legs after leaving.) Her apology seemed genuine, but it was of little consolation given my experience. I would urge others to consider other area hotel options. This is not an inexpensive property, and is a terribly poor value given its issues. The amenities available make the Bandara Hotel a 4.5 star property, but I would rate it 2 stars, at best.
Beautiful view, near soekarno hatta international airport, great food, great swimming pool and the view of the lake and airport. If you want the place that very calm and quiet place .. so here is the place !
Staff attentive and friendly. Open and spacious rooms. Close to the airport if you don't need to go into Jakarta. Nice architecture and several restaurants and meeting locations with staffed business center. Not a busy hotel, appeared to be more staff than guests, really strange for being so close to the AP. Just my opinion, I prefer a busy hotel. Okay hotel for business near the AP, not a vacation destination resort.
Hotel is quiet place, near from the airport. Rooms are nice and clean. Staff are welcome and warmth. The pool also good for relax and enjoying day. And the restaurant also nice restaurant with nice food. I love linjani restaurant.
Stayed at the Bandara for 1 night. Paid 150Euros, incl. breakfast. Room: The room was on the second floor. For one person it had sufficient space. View was on the garden. All was clean, but signs of wear and tear started to show. All was clean. The interior was rather dull and dark and not a cosy room to spend a whole evening. Hotel: Nice layout, very nice pool area. However, it seems that the last 5 year no real maintenance or anything in the sense has been carried out. Reception: Everyone was very friendly and helpful. Breakfast: There was a large selection of food and a lot of local dishes. It was quite tasty, even though the freshness was not always 100%. There was sufficient space to sit in or outside the restaurant. Service was friendly. Location: Good location, right next to Jakarta airport. They provide a free shuttle buss which worked fine. You have to email them beforehand and they will arrange someone to pick you up (they will have a sign with your name on it). Had to wait a bit though at the airport before the shuttle buss arrived. The drive took max. 10 minutes. Overall: The hotel was good, especially if you need to be close to the airport. However, the price was quite steep for the quality and comfort.
They change the name into Bandara Hotel due to management change. i stayed there for 3D2N for a company meeting, meeting room was huge, snack for coffee break was tasty, lunch and dinner provided in Rinjani restaurant was spread and taste ok. the room was huge in traditional touch, they gave 4 bottles of mineral water as a compliment. Bed and pillow were comfy. the location is really close to Soekarno Hatta int airport, so it's a good choice to stay in Bandara Hotel if you are in a hurry to catch your flight.
The location is close to the airport, seen more air crews than tourist in my opinion. Stay in this hotel due to business. There is no amenities nearby, room is spacious & fine except the place is too quiet. For leisure, probably I won't choose this hotel but if you really wants to relax, its a tranquil stay.
This hotel deserves 3 stars max. Rooms are hot and smelly and the grounds overall are really creepy. Not good for executives who are weary from traveling. Staff tries but the property itself is really tired.
Hotel is well located near the airport, and that is all, no shops or malls nearby but there is a shuttle service if required. It is very expensive considering that breakfast is not included, and drinks are very expensive, so sipping on a few cocktails for two will sent you back price of a room very quickly. Staff are very friendly and the allowed me a late check out, but for the price I expected a little more. The SPA is wonderful, it's private and staff were very friendly and facilities are very clean and restful. Hotel and pool are very well situated and good place to relax is alongside the pool.
yes it is actually a great location, the pool bar is good and the people are nice and friendly as everywhere in Indonesia. what made me a bit upset was that the bedsheets are really dirty, I ask to change but I got another dirty ones and so on until 20 times changing............I felt bad about the guy who did it so at the end I gave up. Im actually easy going but if it comes to a stay in a expensive hotel I cant accept that, but ok...................never mind for a night I would say better stay in another cheap hotel the are clean and so far good or you choose the tranist hotel on terminal 2.
