Many times we stay at this hotel, the staff always nice, good hospitality and good for all hotela facilities..😍😍❤🌴🌞 Bali gateaway..always love with this hotels.. More success for Bandara Hotel..😊
The whole experience with this hotel started badly as we had to wait nearly an hour for our shuttle bus to arrive. Fair enough the traffic was bad but why, knowing our incoming flight time, did they not leave the hotel earlier? When we did finally arrive at the hotel the receptionist was very nice and the room was allocated promptly. The room itself was OK but like the rest of the place was in need of a major refurb. Standards seem to have slipped since Sheraton no longer run the place and the bar which used to be a great place to unwind was poorly run and the food significantly poorer than when I was last there in 2016. Finally we were eaten alive by mosquitoes - this has been mentioned by other contributors. Clearly there is little or no control done to eliminate these. I will not be staying here again until things improve which is a shame as it's so well located for the airport.
Extremely well situated for those who wish to overnight and connect to an early morning flight. Just minutes from the airport. Pleasant swimming pool area good food and service. Warm staff. Physically a little tired but work is in process.
I have been to this hotel so many times and I see how they change. The renovation is going on and it seems to be be amazing after they finish. I was really annoying in asking them to sell me the mosquito net from my room, and they organized it :) Staff is amazing, professional and friendly. Food in the restaurant is tasty and there are a lot of options. There's a shuttle bus to the big mall, beautiful pool, gym and the area is super green. I miss this place and hope to come back one day...
I was invited for meeting at this hotel at the Jakarta airport. Great resort with meeting facilities. Enjoy fantastic buffet. The hotel is quite old but very well maintained Will be back soon. really good place, superb pool. Spa is great as well.
Once again I found myself traveling through Jakarta on my way to Ambon with only an overnight both ways. The Bandara Hotel is the perfect spot for such a lay-over. It is convenient to the airport and the staff is friendly and organized. My flight was due in at midnight but due to storms did not arrive until 3 AM. Not to worry - a member of the hotel staff was there to greet me...The shuttle to the airport is on time and efficient. The rooms are wonderful and large. If you need a place to stay in Jakarta for overnight and close to the airport - No where better!
This hotel has only one thing going for it. It's the only good option to stay near the airport. The other good hotel is a good 1 hour away. The rooms are great and the hotel has all the amenities. But the mosquitos, the bugs, the service levels and the awful music and singer (I think she must be related to someone from the hotel management) at the bar just make it very bad value for the money as the room rates and the food charges are at the level of a 5 star. The hotel management was undergoing a change in January with accorhotel taking over. I hope this change leads to an improvement. By the way, I could not use my accor loyalty card and also could not use my Sheraton loyalty card as the hotel was in the grey area of transition. Another example of a inefficient staff and management.
I stayed at the Bandara Hotel one night for an extended layover in Jakarta before catching a flight out of the Soekarno-Hatta Int'l Airport. The only positives are that the property is within 5 minutes to/from the airport with 24 hour shuttle service and the staff is very friendly. The breakfast buffet is pretty good, too. Unfortunately, the property is NOT a 4.5 star hotel. It is in desperate need of renovations. My room was run-down and not particularly clean. I wish that was the worst of it, but it is not. I woke up in the early morning and discovered two lizards on the wall across from my bed. Though I suppose that is not completely unexpected given the locale and the fact that I was in a ground-level garden view room, it was unexpected. However, it wasn't until getting to the airport that I noticed several itchy red marks on my feet and legs. Given their concentrated location, the fact that I am in good health and the marks currently remain and have not spread, I am relatively certain they are bite marks from bed bugs. I rarely post reviews unless my experiences are either incredibly good or particularly bad. My experience at the Bandara Hotel was bad, and hopefully gives other travelers pause before staying there. For the record, at checkout, I did tell the woman at the front desk about the lizards in the room and its lack of cleanliness. (I made no mention of bed bugs because I discovered the marks on my feet and legs after leaving.) Her apology seemed genuine, but it was of little consolation given my experience. I would urge others to consider other area hotel options. This is not an inexpensive property, and is a terribly poor value given its issues. The amenities available make the Bandara Hotel a 4.5 star property, but I would rate it 2 stars, at best.
Beautiful view, near soekarno hatta international airport, great food, great swimming pool and the view of the lake and airport. If you want the place that very calm and quiet place .. so here is the place !
