The room was dirty when we got there. There was trash on the floor. We didn't have enough towels and instead of bringing them to us they told us to come up front and get them. This hotel is obviously some sort of a weekend party place for locals. It was extremely loud and noisy with lots of parties going on. The loud music and parties are completely inappropriate for families. The hotel is located on a main street with very heavy traffic. We heard sirens all night long. The noise was so loud at the hotel I called the front office and ask them for assistance because people were playing loud music and partying outside the hotel clerk actually yelled at me for calling to complain. After about 10 minutes, he finally came outside and asked the individuals who were partying to take the party inside because they were getting complaints from the other guests. During his speech he pointed to my hotel room door. When I complained to the morning clerk , I was told I was welcome to stay somewhere else because they wouldn't have a problem filling the room. I said I'd be happy to if I could get a refund and the clerk actually laughed at me.
I had no choice but to stay here because all other hotels were full. I usually stay at much nice hotels but I thought i could tuff out 2 nights. It was just a bad experience. Staff was nice but the floors and room were just old and nasty. I would never stay there again.
I reserved a two bed double occupancy room and when I checked in, I was told they (the hotel) did not use the same terminology and they put me in a room with a Full size bed (not the Queen size they claimed it was) and wanted to charge more to "upgrade" to a two bed room. My reservation confirmation said Two beds and I was told there was nothing they could do.
The hotel was clean, but picture does not accurately depict location. It is by the interstate, but my wife did not feel safe.
good price, shower n floors wanted a little more cleaning, but good for the price, bed was comfy enough. friendly staff, building could use an update.
I liked it. Carpet was a little diry though. Friendly staff.
The only thing I didn't like was the carpet. A Little dirty.
My tv remote batteries were dead, I had a bulb dead on my lamp, there were ants all over the sink when I came in, my towel had a yellow stain on it, there was a hanger and tag from someones new shirt still under the bed hidden by the blanket so they didn't clean very well, and the room deodorizer they used kinda stinks.
Clean, well-located, plenty of things to do close by.
Hotel was actually a little out of the way. Right off 275 about 45 minutes from the beach and 20 minutes from the Ybor/Downtown area. It was located in what I'd like to call the not so "nice" part of town. However quiet during the day, the hotel became quite active during the night as a though it was a "pay by the hour" type of place. [...]. We ended up hitting the road at 12:30 am, due to being uncomfortable with our surroundings, and the noise outside. The Hotel does not have any after hour security on site to keep behavior of guests under control. And to assist with watching over the vehicles. The car alarm was set off twice before we decided to just leave. :/ That's not even getting into the shower not working correctly, the bed kept sliding all over the floor because it was not mounted to the headboard, the pillows provided, were hard and flat, coffee maker, but no coffee pot..etc, etc, etc...
location near everything, however when i arrived and there was no microwave or frig. and only way to get those was additional $20.00 per night for something that was suppose to already be there.Very disappointed!!!!
Staff tried to give us ideas of what to do at night, which was helpful. The hotel was a $50 cab ride to cruise line ports, so knowing that, I would have paid more to stay closer to port.
We spent 10 nights at this motel, if you don't sleep much, this would be the place to go. VERY NOISY, lot of traffic, even thru the night The maid service was fair. I watched to see when she would sweep behind the bathroom door, it took about 6 nights before I noticed it had been swept. The bed itself was comfortable but all they had left was a double bed and after sleeping on king size, well you know it is like a cot. The reservation was made over a month before, and that was all they had left, did not reserve us a room that we ordered.
It was a good one.
Management were professional. But the cleaning staff needs know their job.Example; vacuum, change the bed sheets more often. Check the entire room, closets, dressers for items that might of been left behind from last guests like I have.
Room is stinky, not good
Location was fairly good. Right near some major bus lines, a major highway, and many shops. It was fairly clean. It got a bit noisy at night due to traffic, and the wireless internet is kind of shoddy. The rates are however awesome. The free breakfast is sort of skimpy but otherwise okay (Nutrigrain bars/pre-packaged danishes). All in all, a great deal! The staff were really, really friendly! Check-in and check-out were really easy.
good inexpensive hotel with decent amenities.
when we went to check in the female behind the counter was very nasty and tryed telling me i gave her a wrong credit card. its the only one i have so no it was not the wrong card. didn't act like she was happy about the fact that it was orbitz. i would not recommend this place to anyone.
