I think this hotel should be cheaper than they charge...where is the money going? Clearly not towards the hotel because the Room is moldy, furniture is old & beat up, bedsheets are stained as well as the tub,the toilet clogged up & property looks run down not to mentioned ran by drug dealers.
Nasty room. Linens looked nasty. Clerk was yapping on the phone the whole time.
Horible stay, rooms were falling apart and there was no hot water for half my stay... i am looking for a refund for this inconvenience.
People hanging out outside our door, a keurig but only one k cup - no cup to hold coffee and no sugar or cream. Very sketchy guests
Dangerous. My 14 year old daughter was verbally assaulted and chased up the stairs to or room by a adult male on property.
Everything was dirty. Felt very uncomfortable. I would not recommend this place.
The hotel check in person was so helpful! Her name was Cathy or Kathy. She was the best. She found me a good rate and made sure I had a room. I had not reserved ahead as I usually do and she worked with me. La Quinta is blessed to have an employee like her. I am so thankful she was there that night!
Hotel is run by an Indian family. None of which know how to use the computer to check people in or out at the front desk. Only one person knows how and is never there. Took 40 min just to check 3 people in. While waiting I noticed the people going in and out of the hotel were definitely either hookers or drug addicts looking for a cheap place to do their dirty deeds. I'm a 30 year old male and I felt unsafe and uncomfortable for the 2 nights I spent their to go to Busch Gardens. Don't even get me started on the rooms. The floors were sticky like either they are never cleaned or they don't know how to clean the floors. The floor was laminate and it was tearing and cracking in different spots. Our room was sticky and muggy. I'm assuming it was sticky and muggy because the Indian family lives downstairs in the room below us and they COOK in their hotel room so the smells and stuff travel up to the room we were in. The base boards are the old carpet. They don't have conditioner for your hair. Only the cheapest soap and shampoo they could buy. I went to Busch gardens for Howl o scream but the real scary stuff was going back and staying at this hotel. Don't bother with this place. It was a terrible experience.

There is a reason there's a no refund policy – the moment you get there you realize you've made a huge mistake.
The manager was very kind, and graciously refunded me for a mistake I made in booking.
I will not ever be back I was so scared of the place I didn't stay the night. It took them 45 minutes to check me into my room. It was just a horrible experience.
I would not recommend this hotel to anyone. I stayed here because of the pictures and price, but I would not stay here again. I am not one to be negative about everything but it was bad. This hotel looked like a Section 8 "Projects" low-income apartments instead of a hotel for tourists. There were people out on the hall-way and front of their doors like they live there. There was a gangster looking dude outside the room who looked scary, he was either doing drugs or something. Inside the room, it was old looking and the door didn't have a chain. I didn't feel safe at all. This is the first time, I've stayed at a hotel that I didn't feel safe. I didn't even want to go outside after sunset.
Unfortunately I booked this hotel at the last minute and could not get in anywhere else. We paid for a deluxe King room, and got a standard room. They were all booked up so there was no switching. We saw people doing drugs and there were pets everywhere. The stairs were not sturdy and I almost fell off because of loose boards. On top of the questionable environment, when we got to the room there were stains on the blanket that looked like blood. We removed those and the rest of the bedding looked fine, but still grossed us out. And the last straw was that there was literally no room for anything. Please save your money!
Not so good, did not like the hotel at all. It was not what I was expecting. The hotel has smoking feelin in each room and not so good.

Very irritated that the hot tub had closed down. This is something that wasn't noted on the website.
My husband and I are far from people that expect crazy cleanliness.... so when i say how nasty this hotel was, hopefully it will prevent people from booking ... or at least bring your own bedding. We first noticed dried blood on the floor of the bathroom ... but we don't complain so we just put a towel over it and walked around in flip flops. But when we saw stains on the sheets and comforter .. that was so disgusting. We went to front desk to complain about the bedding but since it was late there was nothing they could do. They offered us towels and did have extra sheets (but they were queen size (we had a king bed)) ... but we took them and basically taped them onto the bed ... doubling up over the mattress and using towels for sheet. It was so nasty
