The house was perfect for us. We went down for a bachelor party and this location was in the middle of everything we were doing from our round of golf, going down to St. Pete's, a nice dinner at a steak house, and the casino. The host was incredibly communicative with any questions we had and the house was perfect. We all enjoyed time out in the back yard with the pool and hot tub. I highly recommend this home for your next stay in Tampa.

The host was very welcoming with great communication. The house was beautiful, a couple of things could have been better, but nothing that affected our enjoyment of our vacation. Would definitely consider coming back.

House is beautiful inside is spectacular.. outside needs some love jacuzzi had issues pool was not ideal cleanliness but the hosts really took care of it so left very happy with the stay.

Enjoyed the stay, but…

We had a nice stay overall, but the house definitely feels a bit tired and in need of some attention. There were several issues that impacted our experience. We noticed roaches during our stay, which was unsettling, and the hot tub was in need of a thorough cleaning. The outdoor area was generally unkempt—leaves and landscaping looked neglected and could really use some upkeep.The grill wouldn’t light properly or heat evenly, which made cooking difficult. Inside, there were no dressers in any of the bedrooms, very few hangers, and not nearly enough paper products or garbage bags provided. For a group of ten, the dining table only seated six, and the stools at the counter were too short to be functional.Recreational amenities were also lacking—pool sticks didn’t have tips, and the fishing poles didn’t work. While the location was convenient and we did enjoy our time together, the home needs some basic maintenance and a little TLC to match the expectations set by the listing.

Great house and location

Very nice and comfortable house and looks like it was newly renovated. We had fun in the pool and did some fishing. The property is very close to anything you needed or wanted to do. Tampa is a nice city and plenty of things to do. There were plentty of beds for everyone. Definately a 5 star property. We stayed 6 days.

Great golf/boating destination in Tampa

We had a wonderful stay at the Cocoon Island Villa. We had a small gathering of friends over the weekend where were close to all sorts of top notch dining, golf, boating, entertainment and shopping! The property is breathtaking, and comfortable. Fun activities strewn about the house as well as the pool and back deck made sure there was never a dull moment. Thanks for a great experience!
