Liked: Room comfort
Maybe low 3 star
Rooms were poorly cleaned. Breakfast was good. Location good. No coffee or tea in room. Definitely not worth 4 star rating. Hotel will undergo major renovation starting Feb 2020 so things should improve.
Excellent hot breakfast with plentiful choices and good tasting food. Rooms were small, but we didn't spend much time in them as were walking around Tallinn.
Location is excellent - management is rude.
The hotelroom had an odd smell, and I was told by the manager to "Speak to the cleaners in the morning".
Very surprising remark from a 4 star hotel - as the manager wants to be absolved of any responsibility.
Fortunately a comparable room was offered that did not smell, after the manager told her colleague to go check if I was having hallucinations. I am surprised that in this day and age in the center of a big city people still lack basic customer service training.
The rooms also lacked the standard things you would expect to receive from a hotel of such an establishment such as razors or toothbrushes, but after seeing the managers, I knew this is a place you need to manage your expectations.
Otherwise everything in old town is within walking distance, cabs can easily reach the location, and we were able to move around very easily from the hotel.
Book elsewhere, and only chose this location if you are on a budget
I have stayed in 4 different hotels in Tallinn and this was by far my favourite, the staff are super nice , breakfast was great , my room was large and clean with a comfortable double bed. I received a nice welcome and the hotel is ideally suited so close to the town square and Christmas markets , I will for sure chose this hotel when I come back next
Very nice hotel , perfect location for sightseeing in the old city Tallinn , the lady at the reception at arriving on September 21 was really nice and she give a lot of useful information ℹ️ to us! thanks a Lot
Breakfast was very good and the room was nice and comfortable!!
Location was great since it is located in the old town area . Breakfast was ordinary and quite a few times other guests and I experienced no staff available to help when some assistance was required. Jessica , the receptionist was super nice and helpful which made our stay at Hotel Imperial much more pleasant . Thank you.
The room was quite small and the only way to get into the bed was to shimmy in and out from the end of the bed. It was impossible to get into and out of the bed from the side. This was not really a hotel bedroom in the conventional sense. The bathroom was spacious however. I would not stay here again nor recommend it for this reason.
