Hestia Maestro ...our room 406 was quite a long room. It had a bar fridge we didn’t used, a Safe.... Did not have the best decor but it was comfortable. The location to the Old Town is good..in walking distance to restaurants ,information office...Town Square and the historical Old Town. Outside the information office free guided walking tours were given. Which was very informative and well worth the effort. Breakfast cereals, toast and limited hot food, cold meats and cheese.
You can't beat the location or price on this fabulous hotel in the heart of the old town. Don't try to save 30 Euros by getting a room 5 blocks away stay in the center of town so you don't have to commute. The room was comfortable, clean, and quiet with breakfast included. The food wasn't fabulous or the coffee but still okay for your morning start.
We booked this hotel under the name Hestia Hotel Maestro, so it seems the name has changed. The hotel is right in the heart of the city center but very quiet. We were pleasantly surprised by our room, which was absolutely huge. Everything was spotless and the bed was quite comfy. The breakfast room was kind of cramped, but there was a good selection of hot and cold foods. We were very pleased with our stay.
The room was excellent - all facilities were good in the room and it was very spacious. the building is very old and so it has some quirky and adorable design issues. The bathroom with the toilet sitting in the middle of the room was unusual but fun. I didn't have breakfast so can't comment on it. The hotel is in the old town and ideal for walking around at night. The taxi isn't allowed to drive into this section but it is only a short 2 minute walk without difficulty. I really enjoyed my stay here.
We were very pleased to our stay in superior room. Spacious and clean, althought fitted carpet wasn't so charming. Breakfast was quite ok, didn't miss anything. Brilliant location in old town. Will visit again!
The room was beautiful, but breakfast table was rather disappointing. I literally got a spoonful of coffee out of the coffee dispenser. A few plates were completely empty and most were 90% empty. We stayed on the fourth floor, so there was absolutely no noise heard, like the other visitors have written. The location of the hotel is also something that adds to it's value - it's a few hundred meters from the Old Town center.
Such a convenient location for the old town. Room good size and everything as it should be - good hot shower, clean bedding, etc. Receptionist not very friendly when we checked in and the buffet breakfast wasn’t brilliant, but otherwise delivered what we needed.
It is just in the heart of city. A few steps from main points of interest. The bed was comfy and had a great shower. The staff were supportive and the breakfast was pretty good (breads, eggs, sausages, ham, cheese, meat balls, cake, fruits, etc...). The only negative point is the internet. The signal is poor and failure all the time.
Stayed with two kids in a family room during Christmas. Ideal location with walking distance to main touristic sites. Raekoja plats (city hall square) with an ancient working farmacy, main viewing grounds, upper town, towers etc.- everything is accessible within 10-20 minutes walk with your kids (mine are 9 and 16 years old). Spacious family room is equipped with all needed amenities. Windows are facing a street with several bars but once in a winter time windows are kept closed it is quite silent inside. As a bonus form a family room at 5th floor you see amazing Tallinn's roofs of various age and caliber. Breakfast is reach enough and provide typical Nordic meals including Swedish style meatballs and sweet-sour pickled cucumbers. Staff speak Estonian, English, Russian, possibly other languages too - I just have not heard. Parking is provided for extra 20 euro in a private yard of neiboghring hotel. Recommended for families with children visiting Tallinn exclusively with touristic purpose.
Nice central hotels very close to restaurants and city center sights. Rooms are big and comfortable. Even though the hotel is located in a busy street with bars and restaurants, we were not bothered by noise. The staff is nice and helpful. Breakfast was OK, but there is room for improvement...
