Check in was terrible. Staff was rude and cursing at the computer because it wasn't working. Construction was going on and caused a lot of inconvenience. Linens in the room seemed very damp and the room didn't feel clean. Pool seemed out of order and there was stagnant water everywhere. Terrible smell along with pods and construction materials taking up lots of parking spaces.

I'm done with this place. The person at the front desk was nice. That's the only good thing I have to say. My room was disgusting. The door was wide open, leading directly to the parking lot. I assume one of the construction workers did this since the place is being renovated. I had to deal with flies most of the evening. As soon as I walked in, I noticed a very visible stain on the comforter on the first bed. I guess those don't get cleaned. Lucky for me I had double beds. The bathtub was filthy! I could see dirt in the tub from previous use. Also there was a towel hanging on the shower curtain with pubic hair on it!! I guess the housekeeper forgot to grab it while they were "cleaning" the room. I've stayed here before under similar conditions, and I thought it would be better. I was sadly mistaken. I guess I shouldn't be surprised since I only spent $60 for the room. I definitely got what I paid for. Do yourself a favor and NEVER STAY HERE!!!!

So they offer free wifi but you cannot log into it. My trip was for business and I needed to use my laptop and could not they said they couldn't do anything about the wifi issue. The phone didn't even have a cord plugged Into he wall so there was a phone present but not working. The floors were dirty. I had to clean them. The day of check out my room was already booked and paid for through Orbitz so there was no need for any charges. Yet the hotel charged me $112.50 for nothing. Took the money off my card and when I called they said they couldn't do anything about it. Very disappointed I t his hotel will never visit again.

Due to construction on some rooms, there was not enough parking, many dumpsters and PODS took dozens of spots. I had to park about 150 ft from my room. I was woke up at 9am for housekeeping, even though I had only been in the room for 5 hours. Construction noise started very shortly after. No outlets to charge my phone available, other than right next to the sink. Toilet periodically made noise, or transferred noise from another toilet. TV had a very bright red LED that was on all the time. TV stand was about 4 inches from wall. I could see lots of debris behind it as I walked in.

The odor of mold and mildew was overwhelming. We had a room that was not updated and it was awful. No where near worth the $165 we paid due to it being an FSU game day. Phones did not work was not necessarily dirty but also did not seem clean. Was an awful experience. Staff was nice and they did they best with the cards they were dealt. Rooms are being updated so a bit of a construction zone also. Very eerie walking to your room and the first 4 rooms on the floor are all abandoned! Would not recommend and surprised it is even on Orbitz. Very disappointing!

Nasty place. Windows drilled never fixed. Rust throughout. Garbage pulled up. Cigarette smell in non smoking room... Avoid.

We visit Tallahassee often because a loved one is incarcerated in the women's federal prison. We are on a strict budget due to traveling often and missing work to make the trips and The Baymont provides good accommodations✨ The beds are very comfortable...with crisp white linens and towels. I have been very pleased with the quality of the mattresses in all of the rooms we have been a guest in. Jay at the front desk has always been so friendly and extremely helpful when we have encountered problems...ex. Temperature control... Wifi connections ect. The pool is very beautiful with lush planting and trees and is maintained very well. As you can imagine,with all that is offered it is a busy property and shows some wear and tear in the rooms...however I feel it is an excellent choice for the reasonable rates,location to our destination and has an IHOP in the parking lot if you want more than the free breakfast in the lobby.

Bed bugs, mold, dirty room, no security. Crap stay

Hotel is in need of major renovations. Best part of room was tv and remote.

The walls were dirty, the tub was chipped. Its obvious that the maintenance department is absent here. Check in staff was unprofessional.

The second night we were in our room at 11 p.m. Someone keyed into and walked right into our room. It scared us half to death. We decided to extend our stay another four days after that. Big mistake! We were moved to the back part of the hotel where the noise was terrible. People were hanging out in the parking lot talking loudly and yelling at all hours of the night. They did not service our room one day and "ran out" of towels and had to give us 1 pool towel to use.

Hotel was in good location but the phone system and the wifi was not working and there was no toilet paper in the rest room and hair was in the floor and the tub. Elevator also down.

This place is in need of serious help. We wanted a cheap, clean place to spend the night. We only got one of those. From the horribly outnumbered front desk staff (who sent us to TWO rooms that hadn't been cleaned yet. Trash everywhere and beds unmade), to the run down, musty rooms where mold abounds, this place is a dive. And forget about the continental breakfast. It's a stale joke. Either bulldoze this eyesore or spend some BIG money to rehab Baymont.

It is an older hotel and as with all refurbished older hotels, you can see that things weren't replaced, just painted over, pealing paint. But the room was clean, the beds were comfortable. The housekeeper was very good. The things that I really was frustrated with was their wifi and breakfast. Yes, they were free, but the wifi was very slow. I couldn't even send email unless it was the middle of the night. And their continental breakfast was pretty shabby. No fruit, nothing fresh or not loaded with carbs. tiny cups with no lids for coffee or juice.

I last i stay at this hotel was nicer and this room wasn't it had roaches and the tv was not working right

Room 223 smelled like a biological warfare mold experiment was being conducted nearby. It took 25 minutes just to find the one lone employee who locked the lobby front door to take a break- then another party had to be moved while I waited as their room key wouldn't work. I was too tired to ask for another room but would not stay here again.

overnight stay for work

Due to construction on some rooms, there was not enough parking, many dumpsters and PODS took dozens of spots. I had to park about 150 ft from my room. I was woke up at 9am for housekeeping, even though I had only been in the room for 5 hours. Construction noise started very shortly after. the rooms are terribly outdated.-construction!
