The room was FULL of roaches, and ladybugs. The floor was dirty. I cleaned a spot on the floor with water and the napkin was grey black afterwards. The amenities was ok. The staff was very nice and friendly. They were genuinely sweet. The parking was convenient and easy. I love how everything was a walk away. You guys got a good spot there. take your cleaning a few steps up and you guys are on your way.
My bed sheets had hair on them and the whole weekend there was no towels or wash clothes. I was given a hand towel and the breakfast ran out and Sunday breakfast was eggs and biscuits
The staff at the front desk were so kind and I truly feel they wanted to provide a good experience for the guests, but there was only so much they could do. I never complain and ask to change rooms, but our first room had a needle in our bed. My husband was pulling the covers out to take a nap, and it fell out on the floor. Thankfully it had a cap on it, and didn't poke him. We asked to change rooms and the next room had roaches in it. Both rooms were also on the 3rd floor, in the back of the property. We were told there was an elevator, but the only elevator on property (that we could find) was under construction and not operational. Also possibly overreacting, but the men in the room next to us, staring at us the entire time while we switched rooms made me feel very uncomfortable. I've heard good things about the renovated part of the property, but the older portion in the back seems to still need a lot of help, and I don't feel it's safe to stay in-especially if you're traveling alone. Thankfully, the property refunded most of our money and we found another hotel. I've never asked for a refund on a hotel in my life, but I just couldn't stay here.
