Stayed in T room for 4 nights in early October, 2017. This was my first visit to Taiwan and I found the hotel very easily, taking the MRT Airport Line to Taipei Main Station then transferring to the Green Line at Beimen Station, heading east and alighting at Taipei Arena Station. From there it was an easy walk (5-7 min) to the hotel. Checking the walking route beforehand from the MRT station to the hotel on Google StreetView meant I could almost do it blindfolded! Staff at the hotel were extremely friendly and helpful throughout my stay. The room was a good size although, the design made use of mirrors to make it look more spacious. The room was a bit too dark for me; even opening the curtains revealed a small window covered by a metal grill, looking directly across (about 6 m) the lane to another building. Virtually no natural light came in through the window and, to be honest, it was as if the room had no window at all. Given the look of the hotel from the street, I suspect that all, if not most, of the rooms are the same and this is the single thing that would make me reticent about returning to this hotel; very little light and zero view. Nevertheless, my stay was quiet and comfortable. The only issue I had was with the in-room safe which, on several occasions, would not open. Staff came to "fix it" maybe 2 or 3 times before it started to work properly. For my troubles, staff presented me with an amenity kit on check-out, comprising 3 or 4 small bottles of shampoo, conditioner, etc., that one finds in the rooms. WiFi was excellent throughout the hotel. I never ate breakfast at the hotel so can't comment on that. I visited the lounge a few times, however. It was a comfortable and quiet place to relax, have coffee and meet with a couple of friends who were staying nearby. Some complimentary yogurt, fruit juices and fresh fruit were available there but the rest of the food was just junk. Overall, Hotel Quote did not disappoint and I would stay there again if I could get a room which has more of a view, lets in a decent amount of light and is less claustrophobic.

Nov 9 - Nov 12 Taipei Today is the third day of my two week trip which includes Taipei and Hong Kong, again. I arrived at Taoyuan airport (TPE) on Nov 9. It was packed with tourists. Personally, I have never experienced a large crowd at this airport. I'm guessing Taipei is gaining more interest. At the airport I noticed their metro (MRT) is connected to the airport now, but I chose to take a taxi ride to the hotel. The cost of the cab fare was NT$1,140. It took approximately 30 to 40 minutes. I'm guessing it would have taken longer with the MRT because of the speed and transferring to two other lines before getting to the Taipei arena area. When I arrived at my hotel, the staff are extremely friendly. One of the staff ran out to help me with my luggage. This hotel doesn't have an arrival court, so basically the staff has to watch the street frequently. At check in, the receptionist surprisingly upgraded me to a bigger room. I booked and fully paid for my room through Chase Reserve travel portal, so I don't know that has anything to do with the upgrade or because this is my fourth time staying here. FYI, no more free breakfast, but there plenty of places to eat in this area. I uploaded photos of my upgraded room. Also, I uploaded my food adventure to Lin Dong Fang Beef Noodles (林東芳牛肉麵) - No. 274, Section 2, Bade Road, Zhongshan District; Lan Jia Gua Bao (藍家割包) - No. 3, Aly. 8, Ln. 316, Sec. 3, Luosifu Rd., Zhongzheng District. Stay tuned...

I thought the room got street view but in fact it is facing the back of hotel, only little view toward the back of other building. Room is too small and dark. Design is contemporary but since its too small, I cannot stay here long. Luckily that is just my short trip to Taipei. They got a bar and a western food restaurant at 1 st floor. Thats only good point I can think of coz I’m lazy to get out for dinner after a tired working day. Got a medium size shopping mall and IKEA next to it. Not close to metro station. See no reason to comeback here.

The floor is quiet and the room is clean and tidy. The staff are polite and willing to offer help. There is a 24-hour lounge for guests to relax. I will definitely stay in this hotel again next time when I am in Taipei!

Tried for 1 night during business trip to Taipei Pluses: - very good location; - new hotel - everything is new and high-tech; - very nice and helpful stuff; Minuses: - rooms are not dark - had to do extra measures to keep curtains closed and slept with mask; huge gap between curtains and window; -room a little small.... for this price can find better option I believe; - transparent door with toilet suppose to be sexy... but in the end is super awkward... - phone - u have to guess how to use it as everything in traditional chinese.... - 2 times bump my head in to glass door to toilet... but I guess is my fault) lol. - breakfast selection is a bit poor. Tried simply to grill my bread - epic fail... just suggest to put normal simple toaster.... - reserved through web-site and was told there is Gym... actually it doesn’t belong to hotel and it is cross the street... Didn’t feel right here.... but in general I guess it is ok.... believe can find better options around this area - like 5*Sherwood (cheaper and much better), Westgate, City View and etc.

We loved our stay here. It’s location is nice and is near to the MRT stations. There is also a bus stop very near and is just right beside the mall. That mall even has an IKEA store. The rooms are very comfortable. I loved that they have Nespresso machines in each room. We also love their toilets. It has warm seats that make it comfortable even during the cold season. They also have a lounge that you can access 24/7 to get unlimited snacks and beverages. Plus, service is good and you get to meet friendly staff ready to assist you. Will definitely stay here again when we visit Taipei again.

We are currently staying at this lovely hotel. We arrived very late on Sunday night after a long flight and were greeted with tea, a warm welcome & a very efficient receptionist who soon had us checked in and took us to our room. We fell straight into bed so only really noticed our lovely decorated room & bathroom this morning. Breakfast was in a lovely room with lots of choice for everyone. This evening we had a tea and nibbles in the HQLounge where the lovely lady helped us to find our way on the map to a local restaurant to eat. We are here for another couple of nights before we go travelling round Taiwan but will be back for the night before flying home in a couple of weeks. Shame we have to leave for an early flight so will miss the lovely breakfast. I hope the other hotels on our trip live up to the standards of hotel Quote, thanks for making our first days in Taiwan so great.

I had a very comfortable 4-night stay at Hotel Quote! The hotel is a mere 3 minute walk to the closest subway station. Staff were incredibly conscientious and helpful. The room was extremely clean and spacious. Best of all - a big selection of drinks stored in the mini fridge which were free for guests and refilled every day! I was most impressed by the 24hour 2nd floor lounge which had multiple beverages, snacks, fruits, and other in-room amenities available for guests to pick and enjoy anytime. I'll most definitely stay at Hotel Quote again for my next visit to Taipei!

Booked Q room and upgraded to E suite room. The bath is really nice but it takes forever till it is filled with water. The bed is comfy, but the tv kept losing its signal. The best is the room have a great stereo speaker! It is awesome! If you are a music lover, you would love this room and doesn’t want to leave. Also, on the card they said they provided massage machines, well it was not indicated well which I found out I had to call Front desk to rent it before I checked out. But the rest are good, I do recommend you to stay in this hotel!

I like staying at this hotel due to not only its convenient location but also great staff and amenities. I've stayed here couple times and since the check in, the staff was very helpful, positive, and responsive. I had trouble with my wifi connection and within minutes, they set up a router in my room, no questions asked, no excuses given. So professional and customer centric. The cleaning staff is also very good, they never miss anything in the room and given the free minibar to small bathroom stuff, it's a detailed task. I stay in the smaller rooms and I like the design but given I traveled solo, I can see why it's harder for couples, families, or friends to share the small room. The design is very cozy and trendy, nothing wrong with the rooms (except maybe it's a bit small). But having a curtain as the bathroom wall may bother non-solo travelers so make sure to check your room beforehand. Overall, I'd suggest folks to stay here and take advantage of great offerings and the location too.
