Sol House Taghazout Bay - Surf4.0 out of 5.0

We were staying at the Hyatt Place and our shuttle bus drops us right to this hotel as it’s on the beach We had a nice lunch of cheese and turkey ham baguettes with chips, plus a mojito which is lovely They do offer more traditional food but we just fancied something simple the day we visited Seems like a nice chilled hotel It’s right on the beach so it’s great if you’re surfing or prefer the beach to a pool They have a section on the beach just for hotel guests so that seemed good for families too You can walk into Taghazout where all the restaurants and a couple of bars are, in about 15-20mins
the place the spot the view just unique, the chef zouhair was so nice to us, he made some outstanding french cuisine mixing fresh fish with bio vegetables it was delirious and healthy. this hotel is a real escape from the routine of any other accommodation that we used to take nearby can’t wait to comme back for a longer stay
We had a stay of 10 days in total with the three of us. Nice place to stay with direct access to the beach. The crew is nice, helpfully and warm hearted at any time of the day. The variety and quality of the food is as good as the service. If you’re planning to surf we would recommend to stay in the winter! If you’d like to do a surf guiding we would highly recommend to plan a trip arranged by Sol House - not with the locals. Special thanks to Imane and the entire crew for this pleasant stay - we will be back.
I enjoyed my Time in this beautiful property and loved all the activities proposed by their team. You really feel like you are taken care of in all apects. I do recommend the spot for everyone looking for a break far from city hussle
Great surf hostel - they will organise everything for you lessons, board / wetsuit rental, food and of course a bed. Would defintely recommend staying here, tamraght in general a little more laid back then taghazout and the good surfing breakes are closer to your accom
A great overall experience with very kind, attentive and helpful staff. The Master cabana ticked all the boxes, was practical, clean, comfortable and quiet. Perfect set up for our family week with a 16 years old teenager, WiFi everywhere, lots of activities. We enjoyed surfing, body boarding, horse riding, the Spa, great pool and beautiful beach. Very easy access to local markets and to the picturesque village for evening meals, so would suggest experiencing local restaurants for delicious food at very affordable price. We certainly recommend Sol House and intend to go back before high season again.
Extremely poor customer service especially the Financial department! After 12 calls and 2 reclamation emails, not an answer ! The hotel had debited the total amount of our stay as a 'pre-authorization' (which is usually not debited - only blocked). Anyways, the hotel gave me the cancellation ticket on June, 5th and never refunded me the amount back, despite our claims! This happened also to two other couples of friends there at the same time!!! You can imagine the total amount! And not even an answer from their side! We are so disappointed by this ‘pretended’ Melia hotel !!! Are there any hotel international standards respected ??!! After this experience, you can be assured that we will never come back! And for those who plan to stay there, never give a pre-authorization !
Surfing is really easy with a brilliant instructor.(Simo)With humor and experience he theaches you very well. Give him a pay raise :) What I want to say with this is that beginners and others will have a nice time surfing here an gaining a lot of progress. (Thats what she said)😂😂
What a pleasant stay it was, the hotel structure makes it for a pleasant and peaceful stay and the room has a magnificent lay out.our wishes were entirely fulfilled and anything we requested was quickly supplied... the staff was friendly and one of the nicest. .. I would highly recommend this hotel to whoever is considering Agadir. Granted, this hotel feels like a second home.
We stayed in a bungalow, they are pretty new, well decorated and provide a lot of privacy. It is in front of a very large beach, not very busy and with fine sand. The food of the hotel is good, specially the italian restaurant, not expensive for europan standards but expensive for morroco. Special thanks to Ahmed (breakfast buffet) and the waitress of the Italian restaurant (can't remember the name, sorry). The town is a 10 minute walk by the beach, good and healthy food, cheap prices, not too many people and nice waiters. Right beside the hotel they are building two massive hotels (Marriot and Fairmont), so better go before it gets too crowded.
