This was a good value for the money, very low cost for a clean, well appointed room with 2 double beds for a family to stay. The front desk manager was very kind and even gave the children some drinks, etc. I appreciated that my family was taken care of and was in a safe, clean location at an affordable price. Joey's/Pronto Joey's and Dunkin Donuts are basically attached to the same parking lot on the same side and Denny's is across the street. Located on Carrier circle close to the thruway, so very convenient for travelers.
We stay just a nite in Dec which heavy snowing day and easy checking in. Our room was no 200 on top floor next to the stairway. Our room have 2 big bed and small fridge and flat screen TV. Bathroom is clean but the sink is outdated Carpet has a milk stain and dirt under the lamp table also a coffee stain next to the bed. Carpet is also come off in the edge of the wall. I can smell the cigarette fume from the entrance downstairs where people smoke outside. WiFi is very strong signal. Breakfast have waffle and coffee and cereal. When I come down at 8 the waffle dough is finished. Overall we ok with the room and it is value for money.
Stayed here for one night. We were given a smoked in room, despite requesting non-smoking and the hotel being maybe 25% occupied. The room smelled smoky. The chair had cigarette holes. The sheet over the mattress was very thin, and had several cigarette holes. The tub also had cigarette burns stains. Ran the fan all night to lessen smell The bathroom was not very clean. There were hairs on the toilet and floor. And the rim under the toilet seat was moldy. My son was afraid the lift the seat... There was also a gash in the wall, and a large crack in the outer window. At least window was double glass. The free breakfast was standard fare...was expecting worse given the room
Knights Inn hotel in East Syracuse is one of the top luxury hotels in New York City. It is known for its beautiful looks, both inside and outside and it is top quality luxury accommodations. What follows are some of the things Knights Inn apart from the competition. place Let's face it, no matter how nice the hotel is (and it is very nice) the most important part of it is in New York hanging out in your hotel but enjoy yourself in the Big Apple. It helps to have a prime location and this hotel sure. Fireside Restaurant. There are many fantastic restaurants in NYC (it is one of the main things I like about the city), but it helps if you have a great restaurant right in the lobby of a hotel and that is what you get when you stay at the Knights Inn. Services. As you would expect in a good hotel, like this one, the facilities are fantastic. Among those who really caught my attention are the 24/7 room service and massage / beauty center. Nice rooms. The rooms are decorated very clean and modern. The bathrooms are big and beautiful. Sure, you have the most to enjoy your time in NYC sights and sounds of this beautiful city, but when you're inside it's nice to stay in luxury! In the hotel, I have access to wired or wireless internet, unlimited local and long distance calls (a fee may apply). Guide dogs are permitted for people with a recognized disability, but pets are not allowed. Highly Recommended
Check-in was quick. Comfortable and clean bed, good hot shower with full water pressure. Hallways and rooms were fine with no smell as such. Breakfast was just sufficient for my travel. Three types of cereals, waffles, fruits, juices, coffee, bagel, danish, and croissant, etc. Yogurt would have been a delight. But as compared to what I pay I got more value than expected. Staff was very hospitable.
This place is disgusting! Smells like an ashtray from the hallways & throughout the room! It was so Dirty too!! & I couldn't even open the window to air out the place! Wth?! The guy at the front desk was soooo incredibly rude!!! A hazmat team needs to go there pronto!! I've stayed at many places- And, this by far was the worst!! holes in the hallway walls. Stairwell was filthy! I ended up cancelling my room, it was that gross!!! I probably would of been putting my health in danger!
We had two rooms. The couple we were with found there room door open. Clothes in the room and trash everywhere. They were given another room without an apology. When we entered our room the OLD sheets were piled in a corner and no sheets on the bed. We were given another room, no apology. This is suppose to be a non smoking hotel. The back building we were in smelled like smoke in the hallway and room. Unbelievable!
The man at the front desk was rude and not at all friendly. The rooms look nothing like the pictures. It looks like a room in my great grandmother house. There was black mold filling the tub while I showered. After asking for another room, I received attitude. Second was no better. Hair and mold in the bathroom. Had it not been 3am I would have left. Slept on top of great grandma's quilt and rushed out first thing in the morning ! HORRIBLE!!!
My husband booked this place online during our 20 hr drive home from vacation, just as a place to get some rest overnight. Although I was skeptical the front desk person was friendly and efficient, had keys ready to go for us when we walked in the door. The room however was awful. I travel multiple times a month staying in very normal hotels and this is easily the worst place I've ever been. EVERYTHING was dirty, Windows, floors, bathroom, "white" towels were dingy gray, sheets were stained and there was no protection underneath from mattress. Although they say the entire place is non smoking it still reeked of smoke. If it wasn't for risking my husband feeling even worse that he booked it, or a cranky 10 hr drive from no sleep, I would have chosen sleeping in the car over the room. Luckily I tend to travel with a sheet set and a couple towels just in case, these saved our stay if you have any other option do not stay here!
Stayed here after booking through booking.com When I arrived at the hotel and said I had a reservation through booking.com with the Roadway Inn no one EVER mentioned to me that they were not the Roadway!! There were several other people in the lobby with the same experience. We were told that they were unable to see our reservation with booking and we had to pay them directly. OUT AND OUT LIE as they knew there was no reservation with them because they were the wrong hotel! After changing to the Sira hotel the HJ logo had been covered and therefore there was no sign on the hotel which led to the confusion in the first place. How dare they lie and not tell us all that they were the wrong hotel. After cancelling my reservation with booking.com - which they did not do bythe way and was charged by the Sira and the Roadway - I was given a room that was absolutely disgusting! the floor was dirty, the bed wasn't made and the toilet was full of Sh&t! I have never in my life been as disgusted by a hotel and their behaviour as I was with this one. Stay far away from this hotel!
