Not only is the General Gordon in a super convenient and quit location, the pub and beer garden below go off. Aside from the location and vibes, the rooms are spacious, quaintly styled, and the bathrooms are stunning with a fresh renovation. On-top of it all the beds are consistently comfy and the process for checking in and out couldnt be easier. Will definitely be staying again.

This property was very clean. Location was very close to the train station and international airport terminal. Guest should know that there is no one on duty before 10am. We needed to call a taxi and no one to help as we were from the states and did not have service. This was the only down fall but overall it was excellent

Room and staff excellent, very handy for rail station opposite. No breakfast available, but bakery nearby. Pub very noisy in the evenings, but rooms were quiet.

Perfect place to be close to the airport.

Fantastic hotel in the perfect location for a quick trip to the airport. Hotel meal and drinks were wonderful. Rooms are clean and comfortable. A great find - will choose here every time over the more expensive hotels near the airport.

While this is outside of their control, they are directly under the flight path to Sydney airports major runway. There is a curfew in place from 11 pm to 6 am but at 6:01 you will hear planes landing, being so close to the runway, and they will wake you up. Ended up buying ear plugs to sleep past 6am. The room was in good condition, nice comfy bed, and even though it is above a pub, did not hear anything from the below pub. Friendly staff.
