My son and I had a lovely stay there. Well located, nice food and drinks, kind staff, clean room with a nice style and comfortable bed. Affordable as well. We will be back for sure.

Very clean good sized room and quick check in - staff were all friendly and helpful. Only criticism would be that our room wasn't serviced within the 4 day period that was promised but once we had asked it was done straight away. would definitely recommend.

There's a lot of talk about "the vibe" and "the fam"...but not a lot in terms of service delivery. I was there on a night when there was an event downstairs. The layout of the property means that the noise factor for inhouse guests is very loud. Less than ideal. Rooms are quite well fitted out but very compact, really only suitable for one person on a short term stay. Could be a lot better if the hotel wasn't so intent on trying to be the "cool kids on the block" and instead just run a hotel well.

Location is excellent. Rooms are pretty tight but OK for short stays. 99% of staff were excellent, friendly, helpful. For our first week we had a served breakfast which was amazing, really good. Then, alas, they switched to a buffet which was a disaster. Cold food, cold plates and to be consumed in a cold and windy outside space. No cutlery, toaster not working, packaged coffee, it was a real let down. We mentioned it to several members of staff who apologised. It really left a sour taste. If the served breakfast continental throughout our stay I would have no problem giving it 5 stars but now it's a 3.
