We stayed at this hotel after a concert at the Qudos Bank Arena. It is a safe, convenient walk for anyone to attend a concert. Even when returning late at night it was completely safe. Parking in the area is around $25 for 24 hours. Hotel paid parking filled up by 2pm on the concert day. We did not think this hotel was well organised for the amount of people coming back from the concert (and they knew how many people were going). We ended up lined up outside along the road for 40 mins waiting to get into an elevator up to our room. You are unable to use the staircases as they are alarmed fire doors so everyone had to wait. The room was tidy however there was dust on appliances and dirt on the toilet floor. All of the beds were a complete rock. The bunk beds may as well have not had a mattress on them. The aircon vents were filled with dust and the control panel damaged. There was a white substance (maybe toothpaste?) smeared down the privacy curtain. The bathroom tap was not fixed to the basin properly and so it would fall out. There was a massive stain on the carpet that we were unsure about. We also had a faulty ceiling light. When we first arrived it lasted 5 minutes and then blew. We thought it was the bulb so we spoke to reception about this. While we were at the concert they replaced the bulb. However, when we came back it did exactly the same thing. This meant we couldn’t use the shower because we couldnt see. It is a safe and reasonably priced hotel which is convenient for concert goers. We just wish our experience was better.

I was able to book accomodation on the day of checking in at 8am arrived at the hotel they had a room ready for me at 11am. Thought there was no toilet in the room but then i found it. The room has excellent heating and cooling facilities plus a very comfortable bed and good standard free to air tv on a good quality samsung tv with no fancy system that has channels that dont work. and to top it of a true quality all you really need style of continental breakfast. Would stay at ibis budget sydney olympic park again

There isnt really too much to say about this place. The name is rather self-explanatory. It is a budget hotel and there are no frills about it. The bed was comfortable and i was able to sleep well. Despite a church group staying there and being rather noisy it was a pleasant stay. The hotel is in a great location next to the stadium which is ideal for big events. Staff were very friendly and helpful. The bathroom shower door was a bit flimsy and needs repair. My only major complaint would be to have wall connections near the beds so you can have your phone charged and close to you.

Ibis Budget is a no frills hotel, a 10 minute walk from Sydney Olympic Park Station. Walk straight up Dawn Fraser Avenue and it's located across the 2nd set of traffic lights. Not to be confused with the nearest Ibis using the red logo, the budget hotel displays the light blue logo. The staff were very friendly and helpful at reception and they also double as servers at the small restaurant on the ground floor. There is a fast food restaurant nearby but when we came on a Saturday, it closed after lunch. Not to worry, there are restaurants near the train station for a varied selection. Parking at Level 1 is available for a fee. The room was clean but because of the gap between the floor and the door, we could hear sounds from the hallway. I think a cheap way to cancel the noise would be to install a door draft stopper for each room. The room was very basic and small, but clean. The toilet is separate from the shower. There are no amenities except for 2 soaps. Bring your own toothbrush, toothpaste as well as lotion and shampoo. They provide 1 hand towel and a couple of bath towels and only 1 pillow for each bed. The sheets are hotel-grade and the smart TV is mounted on the wall. The air-conditioning system is sufficient and a small fridge is provided and tea-making facilities are adequate. There is no wardrobe storage but hangers are provided on the wall. Toilet paper rolls are sufficient. There are drinks and snack vending machines near the lifts of each level and 1 ice cream vending machine next to reception. The drinks here are cheaper than the ones sold in the convenience store situated next door. You can have continental breakfast here for $7.00 which consists of hotcakes, cereals, breads, jams, butter and other spreads. I would go elsewhere if I wanted a hearty breakfast, though. I would consider staying here again when attending concerts at Qudos Bank Arena which is just a 5-minute walk from the hotel.

I stayed at the Ibis Budget Sydney Olympic Park Hotel last night for $99 after watching the Parramatta vs Wests Tigers football match. Firstly let me state this establishment is VERY, VERY, basic. HOWEVER the place is VERY GOOD value PROVIDING the motel room rate is low (Under $120). This facility is very much at the budget end of the market, but IS NOT what i would consider cheap and nasty. I'm OK with it being basic as all I wanted was a place to sleep and I wasn't looking for anything special or or upmarket. The room is very small and the toilet, although clean, reminded me of a port-a-loo you would use at an outdoor concert. It had two bars of very small and average quality soap, but there was no shampoo. The bed was big, but a little bit to firm for my liking. One thing I did like was you could check in from 12.00pm. Big gold star for that. There is limited on-site parking for $20 and a basic, self serve continental breakfast of cereal, toast, pancakes and some tinned fruit is available for an extra $7.00 that is OK value I'm not bagging the place as it is what it is and good value for what I paid. This changes completely when rates exceed $120. if you wanting a bit of luxury, the Ibis Budget Motel IS NOT the place to go.

We paid top dollar to stay here for Ed Sheeran. The carpet was filthy. The walls were marked and stained. The bathroom only had a curtain for privacy, and the shower door didn't shut. To make matters worse, we paid for breakfast, the power blew a fuse. So no toast, no coffee, and no pancakes. I am only giving it 2 stars because the staff were lovely.

Firstly I understand it’s a budget hotel and the room is basic. I expected that, I’ve stayed at other Ibis Budgets before. However I don’t believe in any excuse for it being unhygienic, dirty and poorly maintained. I booked for two nights while attending a school swimming carnival with the kids. The reception area was dirty, dirty floors, marks on the walls and generally untidy. The room was the same again, dirty carpets, dirty walls and smelt. As the beds are not completely made you will need to make the bunk beds, however when I opened the blanket it was covered in hair. Chewing gum stuck to the ceiling light. Even the elevators were dirty. Design issues- good luck fitting the kettle in the basin to fill it or attempting to fill a water bottle. Light switches - one for the toilet and one for the rest of the room including the shower and bed area on the same switch. Yes the shower was part of the main room. Clean it up! Clean clean and clean

The name says it all, it's a budget hotel. The rooms are very small and basic and the shower cubical only divided from the main room by a curtain. The bed was comfortable although we ended up in a Triple Room even though I booked a Standard Queen, however as I didn't raise this with the hotel I can't complain. The bedside light and side table were broken, the triple sliding door on the shower was hard to operate and whilst the shower had good pressure it also sprayed water out the back of the head and this water was wasted. Overall the hotel was a little run down and required a really good deep clean to bring it back to its best. The continental breakfast was very basic, choice of 3 cereals, toast, raisin toast, tinned fruit, Nescafe or tea and yogurt. Barista made coffee was $2.50 per cup extra. But for just $10 each it was OK. Location of the hotel is great, especially if you are attending an event at Olympic Park and the railway station, coffee shops, restaurants and a pub.

This was a last minute booking - booked through the Accor Hotels App - at a moderate price. The room was clean and tidy - but the size of a prison cell. The amenities provided in the room are minimal - you get a bed, toilet, shower, coffee & tea ( with take away cups ), towels, soap & 2 plastic cups, and thats it ! If you need to do any ironing - there’s a shared laundry someplace on the 3rd floor - but I passed 😟 There’s a flat panel TV with free-to-air channels only. But here’s the rub - The free WiFi is woeful ! ! ! 😩 I tried to do this review on the WiFi - but it’s SOOOO slow, the TripAdvisor App crashed 3 times no less - so its back to good ‘ol Telstra. So if you can’t find anything else - this will do - but you MUST BYO internet access.

Booked a room for 3 adults over Easter for 1 night - Rate was $269 for the night - Normally $151. Carpet badly stained. We had a double bed with a single bunk above. Was hardly enough room for us to walk around the bed . top bunk bed not made although linen was left on the bed (We were told this is normal procedure with bunk beds when we complained). Privacy curtain was all stained. I realise it is a budget motel (although they charged $269 because it was Easter) but you expect it to be clean. Would have to be desperate to stay there again
