The name says it all, it's a budget hotel. The rooms are very small and basic and the shower cubical only divided from the main room by a curtain. The bed was comfortable although we ended up in a Triple Room even though I booked a Standard Queen, however as I didn't raise this with the hotel I can't complain. The bedside light and side table were broken, the triple sliding door on the shower was hard to operate and whilst the shower had good pressure it also sprayed water out the back of the head and this water was wasted. Overall the hotel was a little run down and required a really good deep clean to bring it back to its best. The continental breakfast was very basic, choice of 3 cereals, toast, raisin toast, tinned fruit, Nescafe or tea and yogurt. Barista made coffee was $2.50 per cup extra. But for just $10 each it was OK. Location of the hotel is great, especially if you are attending an event at Olympic Park and the railway station, coffee shops, restaurants and a pub.

This was a last minute booking - booked through the Accor Hotels App - at a moderate price. The room was clean and tidy - but the size of a prison cell. The amenities provided in the room are minimal - you get a bed, toilet, shower, coffee & tea ( with take away cups ), towels, soap & 2 plastic cups, and thats it ! If you need to do any ironing - there’s a shared laundry someplace on the 3rd floor - but I passed 😟 There’s a flat panel TV with free-to-air channels only. But here’s the rub - The free WiFi is woeful ! ! ! 😩 I tried to do this review on the WiFi - but it’s SOOOO slow, the TripAdvisor App crashed 3 times no less - so its back to good ‘ol Telstra. So if you can’t find anything else - this will do - but you MUST BYO internet access.

Booked a room for 3 adults over Easter for 1 night - Rate was $269 for the night - Normally $151. Carpet badly stained. We had a double bed with a single bunk above. Was hardly enough room for us to walk around the bed . top bunk bed not made although linen was left on the bed (We were told this is normal procedure with bunk beds when we complained). Privacy curtain was all stained. I realise it is a budget motel (although they charged $269 because it was Easter) but you expect it to be clean. Would have to be desperate to stay there again

I got this room at an off peak price and the accommodation was all I needed to attend the Sydney Royal Easter Show Art Preview night. Walking distance to the Arts & Crafts Hall transport train and a good coffee was available at the cafe next door in the morning. A convenience store adjacent also has some little munchies if needed. Get there early for hotel parking though. I'll be doing it again next year.

This is an awful hotel. It's suited to homeless or backpackers. Rooms are like a dorm, very small with a shower and toilet part of the room ... and I mean not separated as a bathroom. The staff are friendly and helpful. There are really no facilities to speak of in the hotel or locally ... a few take away type places, but no decent restaurants except in the other hotels. Unless you are on a really really tight budget I would look elsewhere.

This is a very basic budget hotel. The location is a bit away from any happening address. People who would like to do some shopping, dining have to drive. I may be biased as this was my first time to stay in a IBIS Budget hotel.

Appalling room for $300 per night with no parking or separate bathroom. Communication from hotel would have been appreciated to advise of pre booking parking. I understand it’s a budget hotel but seriously price gouging is criminal for what you get. Cabins at caravan parks provide more facilities. At least I’ll know in future not to book with this brand.

We stayed here after going to a concert at Qudos Arena. There were many, many long black hairs in both beds. Room 508 is well positioned as it is a corner room with 2 windows so has excellent views over the Olympic precinct. We paid close to $300 for the accommodation which I feel is way too much however convenience is something you pay for. The staff are delightful!very friendly and professional. The $9 breakfast will keep you going with fruit, cereal, coffee and an automatic pancake maker. Only one criticism with brekkie is that the water temperature in the coffee/tea machine is dangerously high and would cause second degree burns if spilt. The beds are comfy and the fridge very cold , which I love - froze my water over night. If you are pillow fussy, bring your own. We also had to make the single beds which I didn’t appreciate for what we paid. Oh and the drink machine over charges if you use a credit card. We were charged $4 for a $3 bottle of water.

Fair sized room, queen sized bed with amenities. Fair cleanliness of hotel. building construction to rear of hotel starts early at 6am... Not good if you have a 1am bedtime after a event. Staff were helpful , but very busy , not enough team members to answer calls / attend to customers. Missing/broken soap holding fixture in shower, shower door not closing fully.

The rooms were small, but well set out, and what was expected given the price and marketing. The premises were clean and well stocked. Staff were good, friendly and responsive. The breakfast was very good value at $1 per person!
