Great location in the city, walking distance to plenty of attraction. Otherwise just next door to the light rail and metro station, perfect for getting around. Nice touch with social hour for free drinks and hang out with other guest. We stayed the night with our pup - Water bowl and a bed provided. Hyde park just round the corner for his toilet break. Despite being a pet friendly hotel, rooms and common areas were clean and very pleasant. Only area of improvement was communication with front desk - We had arranged for a late check out at check in (also a benefit for being an IHG member) and all was sorted. Came check out day, had an abrupt call from front desk reminding us it was past the standard check out time and asking when we will be leaving. I mentioned we had requested for late check out and thought all was sorted out earlier. She cut me off and reminded me that it was subjected to availability and offered to “see what they can do.” Eventually was told it was all good with the late check out (even though this has already been arranged at check in). Came later in the day, we had to decided to do 2 trips to the carpark (not on site) - First to move our belongings and after to come back for our pup as we couldn’t manage it all at once and there was nowhere you could park your car to load/unload your luggage. After dropping our bags off, we came back to our room with apparently a staff inside who said he

Amazing Customer Service from the time we checked in to the time we checked out. Friendly staff in all parts of the Hotel. Clean rooms , comfy pillows , bed was ok. Great food especially the Pumpkin Ravioli.

Great service in great location

We have stayed at Kimpton Margot Sydney a few times and have always felt welcomed. The staff here are friendly and helpful. The rooms are clean and spacious. Coffee downstairs in the main lobby is also good if you’re wanting a coffee fix. Highly recommend hotel

The Kimpton Margot exceeded our expectations. From check in to check out the experience was wonderful. The staff was very welcoming and accommodating allowing us to check in early without us asking! The rooms are huge and the amenities are well appointed. Bathrooms are extra spacious with separate tub and shower. The vanity is a woman’s dream, long and well lit. The bedroom is so roomy with space for a couch to relax . The hotel is located in a good area, walking distance to many points of interests including parks, shopping, the QVB, and the train station.

We stayed for one night with our dog and it was really nice. The hotel staff were so nice to her, and the room was set up with her in mind. The rooftop bar was great as way the lobby bar and the whole place is just gorgeous.

RIP off early check in charge.

I emailed the hotel in advance of our visit requesting an early check in and the response was that they would do their best but couldn’t guarantee it and if I wanted to be guaranteed I should book the previous night stay, I chose not to do this. On arrival at the hotel they had no record of my request and said check in was in the afternoon but I could pay $100 for early check in, which I reluctantly did. I think it’s disgraceful that the room is ready and vacant and I was charged $100 for early access. This charge was not made clear in my communications with the hotel in advance of our stay.
