The pool room and facilities are old and run down. Very cold in the winter and sometimes even shut down for the weather. You can't eat in the restaurant before you check out cause they don't open until 11. (Staff was rude when I did a walk through.. apparently the restaurant is leased from the hotel and they don't like people walking through if they're not going to eat there.. but her manners were not used!!) You have to go outside and around through the front doors to get to the complimentary breakfast so we didn't eat there. The rooms are very small and outdated. Had to get room key redone. Even the grandkids weren't impressed. In the questionnaire below none of my expectations were exceeded and they were barely met I would not recommend staying at this hotel. We won't be again!!
Our room' thermostat was malfunctioning, so our choices were sleeping with doors and windows wide open (ground floor) in November or 30+ degrees trying to rest. The front desk said the maintenance man comes to work at 7:30 am and maybe we can get a discount on our room. A bit late by then.
My boyfriend and myself stayed at this hotel for work over the weekend, and we will never be returning. The hotel is very old and run down. All the stair access doors throughout the hotel are locked, so the only way to get around is walking outside the property. We were put in the back on the second story, and on the last night of the stay, saw a mouse run across the floor. We called the front desk, and "Maintenance was not in, but we can set traps tomorrow while you are gone." GROSS!!!! Not even offered to switch rooms. That day when my boyfriend went to work, he brought it up to his colleagues, and this has been a problem in numerous peoples rooms. Obviously this hotel has a mouse problem, and should be shut down. Aside from that, our keys did not work for the majority of the trip there, and the front desk staff, did not care about anything. This is a very unprofessional hotel. We are not impressed.
The room was Ok, but heating was not working properly making the room unbearably hot. I mentioned this to the desk clerk on checkout, was met with a shrug.
The hotel has a maple bug problem. When I brought it up to the front desk Clerk he didn't seem to care. I had 3 bugs in my room and some one prior to me killed one on the wall and left it there. The clerk said yes we know it's just maple bugs. Now that's great service.....
This hotel was well located and easy to find. The bed and bedding are in dire need of replacement. The room was clean but things are so old that unfortunately it still looked shabby.
This hotel is very outdated. Needs a lot of updating. The room was ok for the price. But wouldn’t go back or recommend it. It appeared very dirty. The only good thing was the price. The bathroom was very outdated. We stayed one night but if we would have to stayed longer we would have changed hotels. We were very disappointed as we thought Travelodges had a ‘standard’ that owners must adhere to!
Fairly run down property, but manager and the few staff I interacted with were very friendly. If you don't mind rough around the edges and avg to slightly below average cleanliness and just want a cheap price, this works.
This was a family trip kids were looking forward to waterslide and pool !!we were there for three nights ! Upon arriving , too the pool we went only to find the doors locked into pool! Front desk notified they came and unlocked , no water circulating water slide only runs from 5-8 pm just a dead body of water .... yay ! Ice and I mean ice cold water ! This remained for duration of our stay needless to say kids weren’t interested in cold water and no waterslide all day!!! Decor in the rooms was ancient , mold in caulking around tub that was less than appealing ! Chipped furniture that looks like it’s been there since the 80’s!this was the second travelodge we stayed at in two months the first being in Calgary both were old dumps , looked like someone bought an old two layered motel and slapped the travelodge name on it ! Huge disappointment !!!
Not Happy with the out dated room , the pool & hot tub NOT Open , when we booked the room my booking clearly showed 2 well behaved dogs , the Travelodge Sun. Sept. 17th manager was rude & insisted I pay an additional $30.00 for the dogs , the rude manager refused to look at my booking showing my request for 2 well behaved dogs , the manager threatened to charge me an extra $200.oo I will NEVER stay at another Travelodge after a poor experience with the rude manager and out dated room & sparse poor continental breakfast .
