Wonderful place for family fun. From the arcade to the pool table, to the fire pit and the board games, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The property was in a beautiful area, quiet and open. Phones and TVs were not a priority. The host was accessible and helpful, and the quarters were comfortable and clean. Wish we had more time to enjoy!! Highly recommend. Looking forward to visiting again in the near future!!

Wonderful home with so much to do!!! The girls loved the arcade room !!! Definitely recommend to anyone looking for a place to stay in the area!!! Wish it hadn’t been such a rainy week- would have loved to use the fire pit and make some smores !!! Great place and recommend it highly!!!!!

There was a distinct musty/moldiness to the main living spaces of the house that definitely hit my families' allergies. The house was fine enough otherwise, though it was smaller than expected given the listing. Access to the main bedroom was through another bedroom, which meant going to our room at the same time that our daughter went to bed. There weren't enough hand towels and the remaining towels were non- absorbant.

Good gathering spaces, including the dining room and out back. Terrible response to requests made in advance and on arrival. Bedding & kitchen towels insufficient, some that smelled bad, non-absorbable shower towels, dirty couch, dishwasher we had to empty on arrival, inaccurate information as advertised.

The location was convenient for visiting colonial Jamestown and williamsburg area as well as Jamestown beach. Basic food and supplies available nearby. The only negative was the musty smell upon entering unit.

Excellent home

The house is just as shown in the pictures. I was a little disappointed that there was no Ms Pacman video game, but that didn't ruin our stay. Communication was excellent. I would recommend this house to others.

Great Stay in a Quiet Neighborhood

Our entire group really enjoyed usuing all of the amenities of this pet friendly vrbo. The place was as described and the kids loved the arcade and using the firepit at nights. This house was well stocked with the little incidentals that are forgotten when packing. My only suggestions is that they have an exterminator treat the property.

Cozy and convenient stay

We had a wonderful time staying here. Its perfect for a family vacation with people of different ages and interests. The game room was a huge plus and my kids had a lot of fun with the juke box as well. The beds were comfortable and clean and the property was easy to get to albeit somewhat rural and remote. We would stay again!

Don't miss it!

A quiet get-away from the busy Williamsburg area with everything you need to be a tourist by day with downtime by night. Easy ferry ride across the river to Williamburg. The history of the service and sacrifice of US Army Private Meyers makes the home a personal treasure.

Works Well!

Very rural but just enough civilization. Ferry ride to Williamsburg was convenient and fun for kids. Saw maritime museum at Newport News, Yorktown battlefield. Jamestown and Williamsburg. Brought two dogs. Everyone had a great time.

The house was roomy for the size. The bed were comfortable. There were some areas that definitely needed upgrading like the hallway bathroom and more lighting is needed in the kitchen and back porch area. The property managers were very easy to deal and responded promptly to messages. They also fixed any issues immediately.

Property is perfect for a family getaway in a peaceful setting. This rural location lends itself to many different activities in the area, or an opportunity to just stay there and relax. The arcade is great for all ages, and helps when there’s a rainy day and you still want to have fun.
