Good Location, House needs work
The location is this property is ideal with it being right in the beach. However, that’s where the good at this property stops. The biggest issue was the smell of mold. As soon as we walked in the smell of mold and mildew hit us. It was very strong and throughout the whole house and in the drawers and everything. We had to wash every piece of clothing when we got home because it all smelled like mildew. The carpet upstairs needs replaced and all of the furniture was outdated. The upstairs bath needed work like lightbulbs being out and the sink stopper didn’t work. Overall, this place just feels like it needs TLC and updating. We saw many cockroaches every day. I understand at the beach you will have bugs, but this felt excessive. I was staying with small children and the stairs leading up to the front door and at the top of the steps had gaps where they could have fallen through to the ground below. So that definitely needs fixing. Overall, this location is ideal but it needs major upgrades and to get rid of the mold/mildew.
