Beautiful property, old and immaculate, updated where necessary, on a quiet street, but just a few blocks walk from downtown. The staff is friendly and helpful, the breakfast was excellent.

From the moment I walked through the door, I was met with helpful, friendly service. Thomas and his father couldn't have been nicer! They gave me tips on where to go and even offered to make sure I had vegan options for breakfast. The place itself is really charming and remains architecturally close to what I imagine it once was when it was built. There are tennis courts on the grounds but I didn't take advantage of them. The town itself is really quaint and it's about a 12-mile drive to Ketchum which is a beautiful drive anyway. I saved probably 150 to 200 dollars staying in Hailey and I'm glad I did. It was excellent! I will definitely go back! I stayed there a couple of years ago and the new owners are definitely more friendly and accommodating. I enjoyed my stay very much and would recommend it to everyone!

New carpet, paint, and fixtures make the house feel brand new--without detracting from the house's historical charm. It's the best of both worlds. I was in town on business for two nights, and Thomas and Andrew made me feel right at home. Even asked me how I prefer my bacon in the morning! And then after my work day was through, I collapsed into the big comfortable leather sofa in the parlor, put on the TV, put my feet up, and chilled out for the evening. Just perfect!

We came in during one of the smokier days in Hailey due to the wildfires to the west, but Gabrielle's warmth and friendliness overcame the hazy conditions. She had ready amounts of baked goods in hand, and pointed us to the best place in the region for dinner (CK's Real Food). The meal was memorable, and so was the breakfast the next morning.

No one was present when we arrived. The house was open and a message was on the door with a phone number. The host soon arrived and was very welcoming. She put us two 79 year olds on the 3rd floor up a total of 30 steps (no elevator). The room was beautiful but too small for chairs. The private bathroom was great. The living room was available except that the 30 steps limited trips up and down. It is an older home but beautifully decorated and maintained. Breakfast was delicious.

Convenient and homey overnight stay. Hospitable host.

I was a charged a price that was higher than the rate I reserved the room at. Unfortunately, I didn't realize this until after I left. When I tried to contact the property to get this rectified, my calls and emails were ignored. A nice property, and I was made to feel comfortable when I was there. My experience after has left me with a bad taste in my mouth, though.

Highly recommended! Several elements come to mind: lovely fireplace, gracious staff, wholesome food and marvelous accommodation.

A little quirky, but overall nice experience for a very fair price

John, Thanks again for choosing to stay here at The Inn at Ellsworth Estate. I enjoyed your company; thank you for introducing me to some classic cinema. I hope you come stay here again if ever you venture back into the Sun Valley area for work (again) or otherwise. Cheers!

I DID knock your stay in a more expensive room down to a 100.00 you didnt even pay taxex and DID speak to you. I hope this is what you wanted I do not quote prices lower than room cost, thats booking people. not me SO I returned more, an thats less than anyone pays for any room plus breakfast. Sorry you were so unhappy. It will not happen again. Thanks a lot, Gabriel
