I last stayed here a couple of years ago and it hasn't changed that much. The rooms are functional - but it's a business hotel and doesn't really pretend to be anything else. That's fine. The wifi is dreadful, though. It's terribly slow, and you need a new code every 24 hours. Reception are happy to give you one, but really the whole thing needs upgrading badly. Good news is that the breakfasts are still fabulous. Great hot choices, lots of fruit and breads, excellent coffee. And you're allowed to take you time. All the staff are frinedly and helpful too. Easy access to the city - Maybachstrasse U-bahn is right outside - although a short walk to Pragsattel will have you in the central fare zone. If you fancy some fresh air, Killesberg Park is also only a short walk away.
Was traveled with my wife and the kid. the room looks like dated, the room looks like 3 stars instead of 4 star hotel. For bottle of water, the hotel charge 3.5 Euros. Breakfast was ok, german style breakfast with hot and cold dishes. not special. Hotel kind is business hotel, nothing more in the hotel than BB hotel.
Located just outside of U6 Maybachstraße stop. Breakfast has a wide spread but taste wise just ok. Rooms are old style and some insects can also be found (spider, ants were in my room). Reception is 24/7 and very helpful. Overall : this would not be my 1st option to visit again at 90/96 Euros per day.
From my perspective it's a 3* hotel for with obsolete rooms. Last time when I stayed here the heating system - stop to function. The first nice wasn't so pleasant but starting with the second night they give me a heating "machine" that solved the issue. Even so, my stay was pleasant at this hotel. The breakfast was good enough and I was pleased with what I found over there. The personnel of the hotel was OK!.
Stayed here for 4 nights. Rude, patronising staff... like a private party for their friends. Slow wifi that requires a new code, for each device, every 250mb. Air conditioning that only has a 'boil you alive' setting!
Very old feel in the rooms, it must have not been renovated for about 3 decades. Large mold area in the bathroom, the sink was clogged the very first time I opened the faucet. Heating impossible to control. Really slow internet and on top of that you have to constantly ask for coupons to make it work.
Well situated hotel for business travel. Nothing special and premises are starting to show some tear and wear. However hotel was good value for money and service was friendly. Food at the restaurant was very good and also the buffet breakfast provided a good selection.
I stayed here for 2 days on a business trip. The hotel is clean, rooms are good and food is ok. The staff were friendly, attentive and helpful. A tube stop is right outside and gets you to the city centre in 20 minutes.
They did not ask if we want a smoking room or not but some how they choose to gave us a smoking room.there are no smoke detectors in the rooms so that made me nervous.they served nice breakfast.there is a metro stop in front.if you are here fo bussines then it is enough.do not expect much.
For me it'a THE classic Business hotel with large rooms, pretty clean not located in the city center but well connected through the underground. No wellness facilities available. Price on average 70/80 euro per night
