Business colleagues and I stayed here for two nights while in town for a conference. The staff was very accommodating...at check in, in the restaurant for dinner and breakfast, at checkout. Every interaction was pleasant and professional. The rooms were a little dated, but very clean and comfortable. The on-site restaurant served really good food...we had dinner the first night and breakfast both mornings. All of the German staples you would expect (cheeses, breads, boiled eggs, yogurts, cereals, scrambled eggs, bacon, sausages, pancakes, good coffee and many juices). Overall a satisfying place to stay.
Hotel was nice, near autobahn, but in green area. Room has several points to improve: kracks on plastic window, small kracks on the wall. No slipperies, no bathrobe, no toothpaste and toothbrush. Quiet area. Another one Mercury hotel in 7 minutes by foot. It is with swimming pool and you can use it free of charge.
This hotel is very dreary. I stayed for 3 nights. Air Conditioner did not cool down sufficiently, and opening the window was noisy...lots of traffic noise, which sounded like a highway. Room and bathroom was very clean, but the bed was hard and very uncomfortable. Hairdryer did not have a cool shot, and took forever to dry...not very powerful. No body lotion provided. I was able to get a feather pillow, which helped with neck strain while sleeping. No easy access to power at bedside...really annoying. Only one towel provided, and it was thin. Overall, I would not recommend, it was just OK.
Spent one night here recently with no issues. Staff were friendly and helpful, room was comfortable and clean. I ate a delicious meal at the bar with a colleague and enjoyed a great service. Would use again if visiting Stuttgart.
This hotel always goes the extra mile to welcome its guests and make sure that everything is taken care of. The rooms are well maintained and comfortable. Dinner menu is varied and reasonably priced and service is great.
Stayed here for 3 nights on business as Stuttgart was full due to some big exhibitions.. hotel is mid budget and nothing special. Rooms were ok although the cleaning standard not great (dust behind headboard).. No swimming pool but was told i could use sister hotel 2 minute walk away.. it is more like 10 minutes and was not worth the walk. Pool was dirty and smelt bad. Also half of the 10 metres was only 0.7m deep so impossible to do any proper lengths. BedRoom was big and ok. Note the wardrobe is behind the sliding door of the bathroom. Took me 2 nights to find it lol !
Stayed here for a week. Staff are friendly and rooms are clean, but rooms are minimalistic (no fridge and ironing board is in reception. Good breakfasts. Beds are ok, pillows are uncomfortable. Feel soft, but put you head on it and they flatten to the thickness of paper. It's a bit expensive for what you get. Area surrounding hotel is suburban, but there is a medium sized shopping centre probably 5 min walk away, or 2min by car. For the price, small added value items like free parking should be included since it's outside and just off street parking basically.
Hotel staff are very friendly, location is ideal as you're close to the autobahn and near shopping centre or for outdoor adventures a beautiful forest. Rooms are small when compared to South African hotels however with a fast wifi connection and work space within the rooms its more than adequate. Breakfast selection is apetising and the abundant parking space is a real pleasure!
Typical business hotel without any extra. The room was ok, television is standard, bathroom was clean and towels of good quality. Internet is free, but not really fast. Breakfast of good quality and the staff is friendly.
I had 2 bookings with this hotel from 24 Sep,2016 - 26 Sep,2016 and 29 Sep,2016 - 1 Oct,2016. Poor check in experience and the overall quality of service has been reduced to poor after having met the Front office Manager. I had attempted to check in on the 24 sept @12 pm and was notified that check in was only upon 3pm. so this info was communicated to my partner who roceed to do so. The hotel had at that point misplaced my booking, which hey had recovered towards the end of the night. Upon requesting additional 2 pillows and 2 towels I was notified to do a self collection from the reception counter. Well fair enough. Now i was starting to understand the curt approach towards service. During my unhappy 2nd stay on the 1 October 2016, I had gone down for break fast at 6.30am and was notified, No breakfast on week ends at 6.30am as we only serve break fast at 7am sharp, not 1 min earlier ... there was 20+ people waiting at the tiny lobby. Note: No notification was stated that breakfast is only served after 7am on weekends. Upon asking for a slightly late check out of 2pm, the FOM had stated NO. We can't , we have a whole group booked in at noon and we are over booked. You have to leave by 11am. Such an unpleasant disposition from a senior staff i have never seen. The fitness centre is TINY...Rooms small, typical sifi loose spring beds and this hotel has a really green decor. Breakfast and F&B staff not bad. Good breakfast spread. * what i especially dont get is the timeline of check in and check out? 11am check out 12pm for a group check in? these people sure do discriminate.
