Went to trade fair close to airport all hotels are ridiculously expensive during the period. This is still a very convenience location at least it connect directly by the S2/3 train in around 30-35 min. Next to a mall and 10 minutes walk away from a nice shopping street with good restaurants and bar. Hotel is basic, but it’s clean and convenience. Good to stay there.
We stayed one night on a business trip. I can't say anything negative on the hotel or the hospitality. The staff was nice, the breakfast was good, the room was quite nice for a low budget hotel. Good job!
We stayed 2 nights at Attimo Stuttgart during a European driving holiday. We specifically wanted to stay in Stuttgart to go to the automotive museums. We had a spacious room on the 2nd floor. It was a non-smoking room as requested and was very clean. It had a kitchenette with a fridge and freezer, sink and kettle but no microwave, crockery or cutlery, as well as a modern bathroom with great water pressure. They provided a fan which was adequate as there is no air conditioning. We also had paid parking in the underground garage. The Thai restaurant at the “back door” is excellent and very reasonable. There is a supermarket opposite and plenty of eateries within a blocks walk. The train is also a block away with bus transfers to Mercedes museum. Only negative is no lift and we had to carry our bags and suitcases up 4 flights of stairs. Good mid price accomodation.
The hotel is okay, a bit aged, but very friendly staff. Single rooms are on the top floor, however the elevator only goes to one floor below that. Big no-no is the WiFi. It’s painfully slow and iTunes/AppStore is blocked. Blockage can be circumvented via VPN, but <1mbit is not acceptable in 2018.
This hotel is very well kept, the location is very close to the train station and is very close to the Mercedes Benz Arena and the Mercedes Benz Museum. Overall it is very economical and severs good breakfast aswell.
Stayed here for 2 nights over the weekend. Easy to get to and with the option of an underground car park. Front desk staff where helpful and polite, the only unusual part being having to go out back on the street to enter the "rooms," also Reception can be tricky to locate, Once in the room part it was a decent sizde room with free bottle of water, safe and powerful shower. Plenty of TV channels and an unusually a large fridge, sink, loads of cupboards but no microwave! (a bit like an Apartment Hotel) Location wise 40 minutes from the airport if you take the direct train. 10 minutes walk to Cannstatt, picturesque part with a quaint Christmas Market. 15/20 minutes walk to the Porshe concert Hall and Mercedes Benz stadium of FC Stuttgart. Few minutes away from a indoor shopping centre and likewise for the train station. So location is very good. A few trendy/youthful bars are directly opposite reception. Kebab shops are plentiful if you are coming back late.
I stayed this month for 4 nights at this hotel. I checked into this hotel and find out that the hotel rooms were not accessible from the reception desk. Often, there was no staff on duty and although this hotel was listed as a "no smoking" hotel, the smoke smell was everywhere. The shower was extremely small. The room was clean, but did not have many amenities...such as a coffee maker. Needless to say, this hotel will not be on my list when I return to Germany.
First up, it has been a while since staying in an economy hotel. This place ticked every box you would expect from a hotel at an economy rate. The facilities are modest, the room adequate (207 had a kitchenette with a fridge). The room was clean and the single bed comfortable enough but the bathroom was pretty small (but no train smash, really). Situated within a 5 minute walk from Bad Cannstad train station and right next to an adequately stocked shopping mall, you have all you need right on your doorstep. It is one train station (5 minutes) away from Stuttgart main train station as well as one stop away from the Mercedes Benz Museum. Actually, Cannstad is where the first Mercedes motor vehicle was born! But back to the review.......the staff were friendly and the €13.00 cost of breakfast was proportionate to what you were "dished up". The shops in the immediate vicinity reflect the local inhabitants culture so expect a good supply of kebab shops and similarly stocked shops. The centre of Cannstad is about a 5 minute walk away and reflects a different feel. I do not find Stuttgart the most exciting city to visit but if you are looking for overnight/weekend comfort then attimo Hotel is worth checking out (or checking into ;-) LOL). I gave it 4 stars purely because it was everything you would expect at this level.
Good location, but expensive, nothing bad specifically, but you can find same quality accommodation for much less in near by area.Lift access available, but really old and small. Not a modern hotel. better to look around for better prices before book this.
Great hotel for short stays it was close to train stations and shopping mall. However I would get a room on the top floor as there is a nightclub / bar at the bottom of the hotel so it for rather noisey so we asked to be moved. The rooms are basic but clean. Staff was friendly and had no problem in moving us to a better room. We visited the Xmas markets during our stay which was amazing deffinitely worth a visit had so many stalls and prices was reasonable.
