Beth apartment is on the fourth floor of a beautiful building in the center of Stresa. The furnishings are new and of excellent quality. From the entrance you reach the living room with a dining table for 6 people, a sofa that becomes a double bed, TV Sat and a fireplace just for aesthetics. From there you can access the terrace with lake view, from where you can enjoy the view of the lake. The kitchen is equipped with all appliances and has a small balcony. There are two bedrooms, one with a double bed, a wardrobe and a chest of drawers and the other with two accessible single beds and a wardrobe. Both have lake view. A bathroom has a bathtub and the other one has a shower and a washing machine. Inside the enclosed garden of the property there is a private parking space reserved for the apartment. The train station is about a 2-minute walking and Stresa lakefront is about a 5-minute walking away. Beth is a very comfortable apartment very central and with a panoramic view.
The apartment is heated and features a kitchen, 2 bathrooms, and a patio, and there's space to spread out with a separate bedroom. Guests can expect to find free WiFi and a TV with a DVD player. A bit disappointing

Starting with the good stuff: the apartment was spotlessly clean and had a nice view of the lake (and an elevator). Just across the road is a small grocery store and deli which provided us with some great meals. As advertised, the station is only 5 minutes away (but the train tracks are only 100 yards away...). Prior to our arrival we had great difficulty establishing contact with the manager as they would not use the VRBO message system and VRBO claimed to have no e-mail address for the manager but we did eventually make contact only to be told at the last minute that we could only be let in two hours earlier or 90 minutes later than planned. We were astonished to be told, only after we had made the booking, that we would have to pay extra for sheets and towels - not something we had encountered in any of our previous VRBO stays. However making up the bed was not included in the price! Again unlike our many previous VRBO trips we were surprised at the lack of essentials; just one roll of toilet paper for two bathrooms, no paper towels, no hand soap, nothing to wash or dry dishes, no kitchen knives, not even a bread knife! We were asked to separate the trash into five separate streams for recycling but only one small trash can and two trash bags were provided. Hopefully all the (non-perishable stuff) we left will be there for the next set of visitors. Although it was not advertised we had noticed in the pictures that there was an air conditioner and we asked the lady who let us in to show us how it worked (it needed a remote control). She called the management company who initially said that they would send the remote but there would be an additional charge of 10 euros a day. Given that it was extremely hot we reluctantly agreed to this but were then told that we could not have a/c as this was only for the owner's use! It would be easy to address the issues we had - hopefully this will be done.

Nice Apartment with a great few in a very convenient location. Apartment was clean. Great for my wife and I and our 26 year old daughter for a week. Ma. Stephania from the rental management company was great. Would highly recommend.

Bel appartement, assez spacieux pour 4 personnes. Dommage toutefois de constater qu’il n’y avait aucun rouleau de papier de toilette aux WC à notre arrivée. Les tiroirs d’un des meublee de la cuisine ne tiennent plus et mériteraient donc une remise en état. Lamentable de devoir payer pour les draps et serviettes de bain, lesquels ne sont pas compris dans le prix de location alors que cela n’est précisé nulle part lors de la réservation. Les dames qui s’occupent de la gestion du logement sont très gentilles et serviables. Bravo à elles.
