I can only recommend this place. Room size. Price. Cleanliness. Breakfast. Free Parking. Reception service. Not a single black spot. Unfortunately, stayed only for one night on our road to Germany, but will definitely consider for the next trip.
Good hotel close to city center. Room was OK, plenty of room (two queen bed for me!). There was kettle to make a tea and/or coffee. Big TV, Wi-Fi was quick and reliable. Bathroom with everything you need. Hotel is bit older, but still clean. Windows are "thin" for the winter time, but heating was working like a breeze. Meeting we had in the hotel premises was very well organized, coffee breaks really nice with excellent sweets. Recommended for business trip.
Nice comfy hotel , good position for the city too. Breakfast was well laid out and enjoyable too , room had everything we needed , staff very helpful , only down side I could see is a lack of seating in the bar area.
We booked the hotel for one night when driving to the ski slopes. It has a great location, not far from the highway and it has a large parking lot. It's not secured, but it felt ok. Rooms and bathroom are larger than what we usually get in a Novotel or in another brand of Accorhotel, so that was great. We took one with two double beds so the kids could stay in our room, and it's really big enough. It does feel a bit old, so some renovations are welcome. Also, the breakfast was lovely and the service was really nice. So definitely one to go back to.
A hotel well-placed for the tram and quiet a little way from the centre of Strasbourg and ideal for certain conventions and meetings. The staff were excellent. However, the rooms were far too hot and with little ability to control temperature in the rooms on an individual basis. The staff told us that it was done on a centralised basis and that some people complain of being cold. The other point was as an Accor Member, there is always the issue of not having a welcome drink for my guest staying at the hotel too and this was refused (some other Accor hotels are far more flexible with this and realise they are playing with customer loyalty). Apart from that, the hotel is very good and up to standard..
We booked this hotel for a mid-point stop on our drive. The pool for the children played a big part in the choice so our disappointment was enormous when we learnt at arrival that the pool heating elements are broken. 1/2 children managed a quick swim regardless but don't expect a leisurely stay by the pool as the atmosphere is freezing and sauna full of building materials. The room was spacious but a bit on a tired side with dust everywhere. Saying this, the service was friendly, and food excellent both at dinner and breakfast. Girls pasta came straight away, which is always a bonus!
This hotel is ideally located! It is 10 minutes away from the city center by tramway in a quiet area. Our room was very spacious, clean and comfortable. The staff was friendly. We did not like the restaurant which was dark.
probably my third or fourth time here. room is nice, and bathroom is quite big. clean and comfortable, as a good mercure. the hotel is not in the city center, but there is a tramway just on front of the hotel. also there is a big car park available, and free! when travelling to Strasbourg by car, it is a good option to compare this hotel with free car park and another one in the city center, with a fee car park at 20€/night :-) also i'd like to mention that the barman is very nice (Philippe?). i would come back only for him and his knowledge on cocktails & drinks. i'll be back!
It's my second time in this hotel. The reason I chose it is it's close to the center (2 tram stops away / 5 minutes ride) and it has a car park which is free. During Christmas, with the center closed, finding a parking place would have been a nightmare. I got upgraded to a Privilege room so I can only comment about that. The room is spacious with a huge bed that's really comfortable. You have a coffee machine there, a teapot and complimentary refreshments. The bathroom is also very big. The breakfast was also good. You have a wide variety of cheese and meats, tons of different pastries, juices and hot beverages. What I'd like to highlight is the staff. They were very helpful and always with a smile on their face, especially the kitchen staff who remembered we asked for slices of lemon in the first morning and in the next days they brought it without asking. This level of attention is rarely seen in Accor hotels. There are also not so good things with the hotel. The rooms are in need of an upgrade, because they look dated. The wifi is working very very bad. Most of the times it didn't connect.
Pool is tiny. At least one of the pieces of equipment in the gym is possible. Breakfast is seriously average. Awful fruit selection, cold scrambled eggs, dried-out sausages. And the pushbutton coffee machine in the breakfast room dispenses hot chocolate when you want cappucino.
