It's my second time in this hotel. The reason I chose it is it's close to the center (2 tram stops away / 5 minutes ride) and it has a car park which is free. During Christmas, with the center closed, finding a parking place would have been a nightmare. I got upgraded to a Privilege room so I can only comment about that. The room is spacious with a huge bed that's really comfortable. You have a coffee machine there, a teapot and complimentary refreshments. The bathroom is also very big. The breakfast was also good. You have a wide variety of cheese and meats, tons of different pastries, juices and hot beverages. What I'd like to highlight is the staff. They were very helpful and always with a smile on their face, especially the kitchen staff who remembered we asked for slices of lemon in the first morning and in the next days they brought it without asking. This level of attention is rarely seen in Accor hotels. There are also not so good things with the hotel. The rooms are in need of an upgrade, because they look dated. The wifi is working very very bad. Most of the times it didn't connect.
Pool is tiny. At least one of the pieces of equipment in the gym is possible. Breakfast is seriously average. Awful fruit selection, cold scrambled eggs, dried-out sausages. And the pushbutton coffee machine in the breakfast room dispenses hot chocolate when you want cappucino.
We spent two nights here so that we could see the city. The hotel has a large car park and is very near the tramway.we had a lovely large room with good views over the city. We ate in the restaurant and the food was god, the portions were rather large but tasty. Breakfast was also good. Staff were friendly.
We came often in this hotel and it's always a pleasure . The staff is nice , the room is big , the room service super ! When we'll come back to Strasbourg , we'll come back in this hotel again ! The only bad thing I can say it's the oldness of the fitness room .
I stayed here for 2 nights for work. Lovely big comfortable bed, room was spotless, staff very friendly and helpful. Short tram ride to Council of Europe buildings. My room was on the 7th floor and I had a great view of Strasbourg with beautiful sunsets. I have 3 more meeting booked so will definitely stay here again. The only thing I would change - the towels - need big fluffy ones not these mean little thin ones!
From the time we booked in to the time we departed we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The staff were friendly and helpful and as we were staying for 3 nights we were upgraded which was a very pleasant surprise. There is plenty of parking, breakfast is plentiful with a very good selection and the access into the centre is really simple on the wonderful tram system which is situated just a 3 minute walk away. Would definitely have no hesitation in recommending this hotel or returning in the future.
We stayed here overnight, on the way back home with our family of four. The in-house swimming pool was the key feature in our decision, and we did enjoy it. Staff is very friendly and helpful, and the food from the restaurant was very good. The location is also ideal, with the nearby lightrail, ot only takes a short trip to the centre of the city. However, they room we stayed in, the halls, and also the pool area, could do with an update. Still, I'd recommend this hotel, especially since there seem to be updated rooms. If the one we stayed in was one (which is was supposed to be), I'm not expecting too much, though.
Booked this hotel as it was on our route back from Italy for a one night stay. We had booked a family room for 3 adults 1 child and were given a room which overlooked the front of the hotel. The room although clean seemed dated and is more geared towards a business traveller judging by the trouser press in the room. The hotel does have a swimming pool which was a bonus considering we had an eight year old. Didn't take the breakfast offer due to the high cost per person but chose instead to eat in city centre at half the price The nearest tram stop is just a few minutes walk outside the front of the hotel
We stayed here to break up our road trip we didn't get there until late so didn't visit the area The hotel was nice and clean with good parking the beds were comfy I can't remember how much it was to stay here
Although only a short distance from the city centre on hindsight would definately look for a hotel in the centre next time. Hotel ok, clean but nothing to write home about alright for a 1 or 2 night stay.
