Inter-Hotel Le Bristol Strasbourg

I have been staying at Hotel Bristol many times and appreciate the extremely friendly and helpful staff, the good location and the cosy beds. Through gradual refurbishing, the hotel has changed a lot during the last couple of years, and always to the best. The rooms are always well cleaned and nice to look at. The last improvement is the breakfast room which now offers more variety and good quality food displayed on a bigger table. My favourite hotel in Strasbourg.

The building is old and not pretty, but the rooms have been renovated with light colors and good beds. Internet available but definitely quite unstable. Great breakfast buffet (€10) and very nice staff.

We stayed for only one night, and really would not wish to stay longer. On arrival, there was only one person on reception, and he took ages to register each person, having to complete manual check in forms which were then transferred on to the computer. We queued patiently for about fifteen minutes to check in. Our room was a small room on a corner overlooking the busy junction. There was no soap in the bathroom and the remote for the air conditioning did not work and needed new battteries. I returned to reception, queued again, and he promised to come to the room with soap and batteries (did so, some time later) The wifi was very slow and kept disconnecting, the TV had no BBC channels, not even BBC World. I know we were in France, but we have stayed all over Europe and always manage to find some BBC channels. The toilet seat was loose, and there was no extractor in the enclosed bathroom, which meant that steam and smells were unable to escape, and no hook in the bathroom to hang your clothes. We were surprised to find polystyrene tiles on the celing and no smoke alarm in the room. There was constant noise from the room above - we could hear them walking about all the time. The carpet on the landing was badly stained. We had to leave early in the morning to catch our train so didnt stay for breakfast. All in all, very disappointing - the only positive thing I can say is that it is very close to the railway station!

I am not used to give bad recommendations, bu this time it deserves it. The carpet was full of dust and the room were very small and with basically no lighting. The bathroom is also very small and it is too dark. When I enter into the room, I found the bed sheets being dirty with some yellow stains...it was disgusting. Then I was moved in another room, and there only one light was working. I had to use my cell phone lighting in the room. Also the environment is very noisy and you hear everything from the other rooms. Not to be recommended.

1. I would hire evey one of the staff at this hotel. 2. Location is awesome for both walking the streets of old strasbourg as well as for parking you caer wit a few minutes walk from the hotel. (When you arrive by car i suggest you doublepark outside the hotel snd dump ypur stuff before parking. Wadlo parking house is super and has 2 EV charging points). 3. For a family, the family room is spacious with a double bed and a bed sofa which was ok to sleep on. Order take-out of you must but avoid the Sushi recommended by the hotel. Rise os too sweet and too sticky. All in all a 8 out of 10 if you travel with fanilies and would like to see Strasbourg.

Friendly rooms full of light and good beds/covers/pillows. Breakfast buffet is lovely - great variety of foods - fresh and good. Very nice staff. Price level as almost everywhere in Strasbourg during the EP Plenary Session quite over the top. I pay 12€ less for 5 stars in Brussels, but hotels probably have to make all their money those 3-4 days a month. Oh well. But a nice place and also good location.

Le Bristole Hotel is in an excellent location. The rooms are very clean and confortable. Staff is very nice and they solve any issue that may arise immediately. The WiFi connection is good. The breakfast is great, all you can eat for 10EURO.

Very good location, just in front of the train station, close to the old town and city center. Very friendly staff, no problem to leave bags outside check-in hours. Clean room. Only problem was the bathroom door which did not close properly.

I stayed at this hotel and loved it from the moment I arrived. As I exited the train station, I could see it so felt very safe with the location. The reception staff were friendly and helpful, offering me information on the local area as well as any other questions. My room was on the first floor and the only disappointment was the shower which was a hand held over a large old fashioned bath. The beds were comfortable and the desk was fine for my work. When I arrived home one evening, tired and with a headache, the receptionist got me a cup of tea to take to my room. Breakfast was fine and reasonable for the price. I will definitely return.

Great hotel, nice staff and clean. Great location by the train station. I'd stay here again because it was so great. Thank you all for everythjng. I also loved the advice that people who worked there gave me as to where to visit! Merci!
