People were absolutely lovely. Hotel a bit run down, but serviceable. Good value.

The man at the desk called management to let us bring our dog intot he hotel - against stated policy - whioch was welcome. $25 was worth it. But...

Nice friendly staff, decent for continental breakfast... Oatmeal, eggs, sausage, bagels, toast, eng muffins, fresh fruit. Well worth the money!

Old motel. Probably very nice when new. Needs updating. Needs elevator. Owners should buy lot next door, tear down the old building, and expand motel parking lot.

very clean staff very nice and helpful breakfast was good

The room smelled of smoking even though the entire motel is supposed to be smoke-free with $ 150.00 fine if caught. Parking was minimal and very hilly. Free breakfast area was very small and not enough space to the volume of people.

It was conveniently located, affordable, and the staff was very friendly. The breakfast was adequate, but not delicious. We only stayed one night, so it was perfect for our needs.

Motel staff were very helpful with local transportation, and food establishments. The rooms were clean, quiet, and restful. Excellent experience!!

We had a nice stay at this motel. They even had cheese and crackers in the lobby when we arrived. The breakfast was nice.

Although the hotel is certainly not new, they have tried to update it. There is an older odor and the carpet is not new. However, it appears to be the best deal in town for the money and certainly served my needs. They are friendly and facilitating. In addition, the free breakfast is an added luxury.

Very helpful staff. Great location to town center.

There arn't many options around town so we picked this one. Was a little over priced and run down but we really only slept in the room.

Basic hotel. Rooms were spacious (bathroom was small). No frills, but does the trick when you want to sleep and eat cheap.

Considering lack of options near Montpelier, it is adequate for overnight stay.

hotel was fine for the area. Better than expected.

Staff were friendly, and the rooms were clean, and well appointed considering this is a two star hotel. The hotel was undergoing some renovation work when I stayed, but this didn't inconvenience my stay any.

We were there to attend a wedding about half an hour away and it was easy to get there. We had a comfortable, clean and adequate room. We didn't need a lot of amenities for this trip. The staff was pleasant. Breakfast was adequate but very crowded space and a little lacking in "good stuff." It was all we needed this time and covered our minimal needs.

A little dated, but helpful staff and basically clean and comfortable.

Stuck in the 70's. Needs a conplete makeover. don't take the second floor, there is no elevator.

No frills place. We came to Montpelier for some good craft beer. This place is an easy walk to Hunger Mountain Co-op and Three Penny Tap Room. Room was clean and staff was friendly. Free ice was also available for filling our cooler.
