Location was great, within walking distance of most places I wanted to go. Also the Metro stop was close by. People were great and helpful with my questions. Breakfast was included with my stay and was varied and good. Staff friendly.

Excellent location, quaint, excellent breakfast, modern super clean bathroom.

Excellent, quaint hotel minutes from the royal palace and close to numerous shops and restaurants; and perfect placement for touring Stockholm. Keep in mind that this is a European, particularly Scandinavian hotel, so rooms aren't large; if you want that book one of the boring chains. If you want a comfy, clean hotel with excellent staff in a historic district, you can't go wrong.

This is NOT a 4 star hotel. It is VERY worn, run down & needs to be renovated. Hotel staff are terrific, first rate front desk manager, but poor souls have to deal with a lot of disgrunteled customers over rooms that are not suitable to be rented out.

Really nice hotel, really enjoyed my stay. I will absolutely stay there again.

At one point nobody was at reception to hand me my old style metal key (upon return from a jog). Had to wait ~5 min for someone to turn up. Now they have just switched to magnetic keys, so should not be an issue in the future.

Always wanted to stay in the Gamla Stan and this was a perfect fit... close to the sights, the underground and more. Breakfast was superb.

Right in the heart of the action, friendly staff and outstanding breakfast. Perfect spot to see Stockholm, especially if on foot. Room was small, as per other reviews, but it was perfect if you are spending most of your time exploring,

The hotel is literally just steps away from the subway station and only one stop to the main rail station in Stockholm. It was perfect for walking tours of Gamla Stan, and there are many sights and restaurants/cafes nearby. Breakfast was excellent. The only complain was the in-room wi/fi signal was not very strong. In the lobby it was fine though. I would stay there again.

The decor is lovely and the staff could not be nicer. The breakfast buffet is one of the best we've ever had. The qualifications are in the summer when windows are open, it is very noisy at night. Also, we found the bed too soft; that is an individual preference, however.

My husband and I booked 2 nights here, before our sons were to join us from Seattle. After looking at facilities around the city we decided to extend our stay here and get an extra room for our kids. The Hotel Rica did an amazing and seemless job of working out all my reservations, we stayed in the same room all 4 nights and they placed our boys in the room directly across the hall. We loved our rooms. We loved the breakfast and breakfast room. Healthy, nice variety of items and thoughtfully done. The staff in the breakfast room, and throughout the Hotel, were helpful and friendly. There isn't a better location to stay in Stockholm. We walked to the shopping street and Ice Bar. Visited Djurgarden and Skeppsholmen as well. Took a boat tour. Did a nice walking tour of Gamla Stan and then decided to just hang out in Gamla Stan, eating on Stortorget at the Grillska Huset and Chokladkoppen. We also all enjoyed shopping Gamla Stan. Lovely, comfortable and happy trip.

The hotel is good in terms of its location and breakfast. Staff is very friendly but I believe that based on the price per night the rooms are rather small. Otherwise it was a good stay.

This hotel was in a great location, close to the metro yet very quiet. The room was tight and quaint (which we expected) and an excellent breakfast. The front staff, while friendly, were not the most helpful for tourist when it came to suggestions for dinner and such, and the knowledge was from the internet, which we had already researched.
