I stayed here for 4 days, I had originally booked 3, but it was so good I stayed another. That was a mistake. The fourth night was Friday, apparently a party night. At 12:30 AM I was awakened by blaring horns. These horns continued until 05:00 at which point my neighbors came back and started banging their doors. The noise is due to 3 night clubs nearby which are open until 5. Other clubs close at 3. The taxis honk their horns to attract fares. This only occurs in the vicinity of the hotel where these clubs are. No other hotels have such issues. Obviously, the night’s sleep was terrible. According to staff inward facing rooms are quieter, but personally I will never stay here again.
You couldn't ask for a better location than being right on Stureplan, and we never heard the street noise in our room. You're just across the street from great seafood at Sturehof, the Sturebadet spa, or some late night fun at Spy Bar. Our room was comically small by US standards, but in line with other European capitals, and we stayed three nights for what we would've paid for one night in Paris! The hotel offers a tasty breakfast with plenty of different options, although we had to go hunting elsewhere for kardemummabullar (the cafe at the photography museum surprisingly had the best we tried in all of Stockholm). If you want to be in Ostermalm, this is your place.
One of the best beds I have ever slept i this nice old time hotel. Good night sleep is the best thing you can get after walking around the city. Small dogs were waiting on the bed every day. The hotel is near the old city. You can just walk there. And this side of town seems to be clean and nice. One minus to the hotel. The toilet near the bar was not clean in the evening. Not good. The breakfast is rather crowded during the weekend but it was a good scandinavian style.
We received a room at the top of the hotel, with wonderful round windows with view over the whole heart of Stureplan. The hotel is located in the best way, you can walk to the beautiful water and take a stroll along the sceneries. You can walk to Kungsträdgården, and just around the corner you have all the best shops and boutiques you could ask for. The restaurant at the hotel is wonderful and has the best food. I love the rustic feeling in the restaurant that contrasts a lot toward the royal feeling in the lobby. The bar is outstanding because it feels like you sit in an outdoor alley with all the strong colors and architecture. The beds in the rooms are amazing, we slept very very well :). I highly recommend this hotel. Read more if you want at hus30.se
Delighful suite in the grand-style with sitting-room, lovely bedroom and fabulous bathroom complete with private sauna. All the rooms are decorated individually giving the impression of real homeliness. Fantastic view over Stureplan. The room could not possibly have been better. Amazingly good breakfasts too: full Scandi! A real treat.
Just a few steps from Stureplan you find this hotel in a historic setting. The interior is really nice. Like a home in the house. The Lobby bar felt like hangout for people passing by. My room was quite small but served the purpose well. Extra + for personal touches instead of mainstream interior. Charming. Would be happy to stay here again!
Soggy old bed that should had been replaced 20 years ago. Bed was moving around on the floor and wasn't attached or aligned with the headboard. Old worn furniture. Very small room with no space to put your suitcase apart from the bed. Flooring looks like there's been a water leak. One tiny velux window didn't provide enough daylight. Bathroom door very difficult to shut. Breakfast very messy and not welcoming, all self service. Noisy during nights eventhough we were on the 6th floor. Think this hotel i overpriced and doesn't give you value for money. Even so in the hotel bar £18 for a glass of whiskey!!!!!
Great place for business trips. The rooms are nice and clean, the staff is friendly, the breakfast was rather ok for Nordic standards and the location was great. There'es a lot of bars and restaurants just around the corner and the subway station is just down the street.
It started with a fantastic and warm welcome by Marta at the front desk. Extremely professional bar staff (Andreas & Oscar), both service wise and innovative when it comes to drinks. You need to try out the "Violette" drink!! Great evening out at a great place. We will definiately come back soon again! //Mags with friends.
Located in the busy center close to Stureplan, it can get somewhat noisy during the night. better have som earplugs available. Apart form that, it is a very intimate hotel with friendly and professional staff, and a nice bar just behind the reception. The only drawback is the breakfast locality. Although the food is OK, the room is much too small for all the guests at the hotel. That said, the breakfast staff managed to get us all into place and to keep the place acceptably proper.
