I stayed here for business two night and had a wonderful stay. staff accomidating. Excellent breakfast

The hotel was in a good location in Östermalm. The hotel staff was very friendly and they had a classic Swedish breakfast with cheeses, meats, egg, bacon, potatoes, mushrooms, Swedish pancakes, made to order omelettes and lattes, great croissants, etc. Hotel decor is more traditional in style but can a classic feel. We are in Stockholm at least once a year and would go back to this location.

I loved this hotel. The location was excellent. I was able to walk nearly everywhere. Shopping and dining options were plentiful in the area. My room was huge and airy. It was a very pleasant experience to stay here.

Really enjoyed my stay here, location was fantastic, most things within walking distance, room was small (which I knew ahead of time), but not unpleasant, very clean and cozy. Staff was very helpful, my outlet adapter got broken on the plane and they had one I was able to use. Breakfast was also great, huge selection. Will absolutely stay here again!

Great location great rooms, Interesting guests, nice place to meet friends and family

Great location near Old Town and access to public transportation. Go early for best breakfast selections. Front desk staff was very helpful in recommending restaurants, attractions, calling for cabs, etc.

The Hotel Stureplan is located in the most handsome part of Stockholm, surrounded by excellent restaurants and great shopping, a cozy movie theater, a subway stop, and plenty of elegant old buildings. I enjoyed my three nights in the hotel--comfortable bed, great street view, stately room decor--but was disappointed by the grubbiness of the shower. The room was generally clean, but the shower tile needed a good scrub with bleach as mild was growing in the grout. I noted this to the hotel staff but 36 hours later it had not been addressed. Overall, however, the hotel was a pleasant place to stay in the most wonderful part of the city. I would book it again.

This property is a beautifully updated historical hotel with lots of charm. It is in the lively, trendy Stureplan area with lots of choices regarding shopping, restaurants, and pubs. It is walking distance to attractions, as well. Our room was on the fourth floor and we had access to a beautifully appointed living room and sitting room which we did use. Luxury bath robes and an umbrella provided in the room came in handy. A lovely buffet breakfast was served each morning.

We had to change room twice, since we did not think the original room was deluxe, second room overlooked garbage area. third room very nice, extremely clean, freshly painted. Difficult to bring luggage into hotel, no bellhops, and 6 - 7 stairs to walk up to get to lobby. However, all else very satisfactory. We were able to walk everywhere, trams, metro, buses, boats. Staff very knowledgeable, and helpful, All best restaurants in area, expensive.

Pros: staff are really friendly and great location cons: mattress is too soft

Great location and nicely decorated hotel. No air-conditioning in our room and somewhat small in size. Fortunately we were there for only one night. The breakfast included was wonderful. Our friends had a slightly larger room than ours.

A shory walk to the bay area (ferry) is very enjoyable and refreshing in the morning from Hotel Stureplan. You can also stop by to check Musikmuseet, Armémuseum, Berzeli Park, Hallwy Museum and Dramatiskateatern along the way. The interior of Hotel Stureplan can be a bit confusing for some due to two biuldings being connected but it doesn't take long to figure it out. Hotel offers a good breakfast with a variety choices of Stockholm and Western breakfast. The common area layout is very classy and nicely done.

I did not read the information carefully, and I signed up for a window with no room in the basement. It was actually my fault, but I would caution people to look carefully at the room reservation before making it. The room was very clean, and the bathroom was beautiful. The breakfast was one of the best I have had at a hotel. The overall experience was great regarding location, service, cleanliness, and breakfast buffet. I would highly recommend this hotel.

I was traveling on business but had my ten year-old with me. Both of us were pleased. The beds were very comfortable, the bathroom spacious, the skylight in our sixth floor towering room brought in natural light in what otherwise would have been a dark room. It was lively and loud on the street (the sun dips around 10:45PM in late May) but quiet in our street-facing room. Only a 15-minute walk from Central train station.
