Great location and clean.

This hotel was in a great location and the room was very large. It was clean and basic and the bed was comfortable. They communicated through messages mostly. Someone was there when I checked-in and otherwise I never saw anyone around the front desk. It's good for a do-it-yourself experience. I recommend it mainly for the location and if you're a family the rooms with bunk beds could be very useful.

The location is excellent. The beds were comfortable. The property needs to be updated - the washrooms were definitely on the old side. I am not sure of the point of the signs in the rooms indicating "No Food and No Drink allowed" - I have never seen that in another hotel.

I had a twin room, which was a great size and clean with towels provided and complimentary slippers. The staff were friendly and helpful, and the option to leave our luggage after checkout was great. It’s an old building, so some areas were worn, but it was part of the charm. It’s close to the harbour as well as cafes, restaurants, shops, art galleries and historical places of interest, such as the Royal Palace. I’d definitely stay here again!

Given it's location right in the historic district and the price, I shouldn't complain, yet it surprised me that coffee in the lobby requiia separate payment. Given it's price, it could've just as well been included. Other minor nuances included having to wait at check in, no shampoo in the bathroom...things like that, but good overall.

Great location! Great stay!

Our stay at The Castle House Inn, Stockholm, was a great place to stay. The staff was warm, friendly, and accommodating. Thelocation was walking distance to many tourist attractions, food, and shopping. And the history of Gamla Stan is incredible! If we make it back to Stockholm, we will definitely say there again.

Castle House Inn is wonderful! Great location in Gamla Stan, walkable to so many places, nice and clean rooms, and easy to access amenities. The staff went above and beyond to reach & help us coordinate the delivery of a forgotten bag to the airport in time for our flight. This is a place you can trust!! Would absolutely stay here again.

Fine and great location, but TINY room. Ideal however in terms of location in Gamla Stan. For that reason alone we overlooked the room size; just don’t plan on spending any time in the room other than to sleep.

Lovely old building in Gamla Stan

Perhaps one of the cleanest hotels I have been in. Beds were comfortable, linens were lovely. Beautiful building inside and out. The shared bathrooms were somewhat smelly, but perhaps that is to be expected.
