I found the pictures to be misleading. The bedrooms were in the basement with very difficult stair access. I would not have booked it had I know. The listing shows different bedroom pictures.

Very old, historic building. Great charms, but that brings drawbacks too. The stairs to the apartment are treacherous. If you are well balanced and able bodied (and not much of a drinker), you should be fine. If younhave balance or mobility issues, you may want a more modern option. Location is right in the middle of everything you came to Stockholm for, without being above a parry street. Be aware that after 11am, cars are not allowed in the neighborhood. Our rideshare dropped us a few blocks away and we had to wrestle our luggage uphill on cobblestone. One option might be to use a local luggage storage service, then get a car to get you luggage the next morning. We were there in record heat, so the place got unbearably hot, but my guess is it is managable most of the year. Overall, the location and history overcame the shortcomings. We enjoyed our stay.

Fun rental for younger, active guests.

Very clean and comfortable beds. Possible renters should be informed of difficulties reaching the downstairs bedrooms. Not easy for a couple of 70 year olds!! Quirkiness of the decor was refreshing.
