Staff was very nice, but given the very run down condition of the property it was overpriced. The location is why I booked there. Given the apocalypse, lobby was closed, so no access to ice or coffee at all (for $100 a night this shouldn't be an issue). There was also NO room maid service, as in cleaning it/ fresh towels etc.
Clean and quiet. A little cold and no blankets were provided. No thermostat control. Could have had a outlet in the bathroom.
The property was unique and in an ideal location. It does need some fixing up and even though it's the middle of summer the pool was still unusable.

Great location. Everyone was friendly. Good price.
I booked the hotel as a posted review raved about how clean and comfortable the room was. My room was not somewhere I felt comfortable. The bathroom (especially the tub) was yucky. I wouldn't go in the tub to shower. The temperature in the bathroom was 20 degrees colder than the bedroom. One bed seemed to be at a slight slope. A cockroach visited us. I took a sleeping pill to knock me out and get me though the night. I understand that these small locally owned hotels are not modern Marriott's, Hilton's, etc. I expected something extremely modest, but clean and comfortable. This was more run down than modest.
