Conveniently located in the heart of Penn State, this mom and pop motel gives Rosebud Motel vibes in all the best ways. Front desk was pleasant and informative. Rooms are keyed with code locks for security. New flooring and bathroom amenities bring an older establishment a more modern feel. Beds are comfortable, and I’m pretty sure the pillows were shredded memory foam- we slept well. Blackout curtains on both windows made for a cozy retreat, and the big screen tv was a hit with my kiddo. Everything was clean, Clean, CLEAN, and the bath towels were so much better than most hotels- thick and comfy. Highly recommend!

I was looking for an inexpensive overnight option for a road trip. I had not stayed in a motel for a while, but it worked out just fine. The room was not large, and the bathroom in particular might be tight for a large person. However, the Wi-Fi was excellent, the water was hot, the air conditioning worked well, and the beds were reasonably comfortable. I even found a lovely hiking path as part of the Penn State arboretum within half a mile of the motel, so was able to stretch my legs after a long drive. I would consider staying here again.

The staff is wonderful, the location is great, parking is easy, the beds were comfortable, the price was very fair, rooms were quiet and overall was satisfactory. This has been my family's go-to place when visiting Penn State. This time I noticed a few things in both of the rooms we booked that I wished were in a bit better condition but overall I will stay there again.
