Brings back a lot of Penn State memories! Friendly staff, nice bar, great room, good fitness center. Hope to be back soon!
I checked in really late. The desk attendant was so helpful - asking if I’d rather unload my car or check in first. On top of that her valeted my car for me too. So welcoming!!
With the university on winter break, it was the perfect place to stay.
The Inn was well appointed, clean, and comfortable. Room service was very good, and the front desk staff were very welcoming.
Nicely furnished rooms. Comfortable bed. Probably the best in State Collehe.
NLI is close to my meetings, and other activities at Penn State. I am quite familiar with NLI as I have stayed there tens of times while visiting campus.
Quiet, clean and the grounds were nice( even before spring)
Beautiful old hotel with lots of charm, close to everything on campus.
Excellent, comfortable stay. Easy check in. Clean room. Walking distance to downtown and University.
The hotel staff was very pleasant and made us feel at home. No issues or concerns and highly recommend staying here. Definitely will be staying here again.
Great. Staff accessible and friendly. Would return again.
Good hotel for the price. Friendly staff, decent food and outdated decor,
Attended a conference during student break. Hotel very quiet, convenient to Penn State Business School. Restaurants, shops, etc. within walking distance (1/2 mile).
Excellent service that started at the front door. Wonderful and friendly staff, offering generous assistance to us out-of-towners. Excellent hotel restaurant as well.
The rooms were clean and comfortable. No complaints there. I was disappointed in the food and drink, particularly in the bar. The lobster bisque - a “must have” menu item was like glue. Gooey, gloppy mess. The bar staff was poorly trained. It seemed as if they’d never been had a real drink and didn’t really know how to make one. If you visit State College, there are few choices and you may end up at The Nittany Lion Inn. Go with medium expectations.
