I was able to check-in early, which accommodated my schedule. The ladies at the front desk where very friendly at both check-in and check-out. The bar at the on-site restaurant is always a good place to meet up with other people attending the same conference, and it has good food.
clean hotel with convenient location - friendly & attentive staff
This hotel is perfect if you are planing a trip to Penn State. Town and campus are within minutes of walking distance. The hotel is very clean and offers a nice pool and work out room. It is convenient and very well maintained. I would have no issue staying here again. I really only have three negatives about my stay. First, since I went up for Arts Fest, I was hoping to leave my car on premises while I walked around, but was told I could not. The man said it had to be gone as soon as I checked out. This was disappointing since I have them my business and they couldn't give me the courtesy of leaving my car. He told me there just wouldn't be room. After walking around Arts Fest, I walked back to the hotel curious if they really were filled. At about 4:00, I counted about 30 open spots. So that was disappointing. Secondly, there is no breakfast of any sorts included in the room pricing. Upon check in, the man said he gave me a coupon for breakfast at the Mad Mex on site. When I looked at the coupon, it was for $1 off one entree. That's great, except there were two of us and the breakfast entrees were pricey. So that wasn't helpful. Finally, at checkout, the lady told me my receipt had already been emailed to the address I booked with. However, one day later, still no receipt. All in all, I would stay here again. It's not perfect, but it's convenient and clean. Despite my three cons, I would stay here again.
Perfect location for visiting PSU parents! Very nice accommodations!
Best location and good service, clean hotel, staff is very helpful.
Great location , this is a very comfortable place to stay, people friendly, room easy to stay in....make you feel welcomed...
Everything is perfect except It has no breakfast. It's very hard to find a brunch on street either. I think it's because of the new year holiday. the parking lot is also great.
Just stayed 1 night while taking a tour of Penn State. Perfect location, room was small, basic but comfortable. Would definitely stay again.
I recently stayed at this Days Inn traveling on business in State College. The location is great, close to everything downtown and campus. It is right next to a nice Mexican restaurant and bar which was very convenient for a late night dinner. I will stay there again when travel on business.
Great location in town. Otherwise it's a good hotel overall.
Excellent stay. Close to campus was plus. Great value place.
This hotel is in an excellent location, but it's missing some things. Only one parking spot per room and no continental breakfast...
Hassle-free. Staff supportive and helpful. The gym could get better!
Room was clean, comfortable. Location is excellent. Minutes away (walking) from Penn State, restaurants. Reasonable price.
Great location, walk to campus and to all the restaurants. WiFi works great and parking is very convenient. Would recommend it.
This is a great hotel in the perfect location. We stayed here to be in walking distance to the bars downtown and it doesn't get much closer than this. The room was very clean and so comfy. My only complaint is that the carpets in the hallway looked pretty gross, but at least the ones in the room were clean. Don't stay here if loud college kids annoy you, they'll be all over this hotel and just as loud as if they were in an apartment building.
It is so close to old main. Easy access to the blue loop bus stop
The room was clean and location was great. Within walking distance to the college and everything in town. Had very little contact with the staff but they were curteous and friendly.
I was very pleased with my visit. The hotel was nicely priced and great location.
Great location if visiting Penn State. Walking distance to campus, restaurants, and shops.
